The movie was good, but the story line had holes in it. I needed more motive, science, and suspense. It was too much of a kids movie with cuss words, which I thought also took away from the movie.

What do you want, a simple movie? Meaning kid friendly and thus no cuss words? Or a more adult movie with a more complex story line and cuss words?

Unfortunately Transformers2 is a kid movie that's inappropriate for kids. Still a good action movie though.

And sorry guys but this movie was pathetic by any standards, how many of you can tell me what the bad guys actually wanted on earth?Then tell me why they wanted whatever it is that they wanted?If they wanted the sun so much, why didnt they just build the stupid machine on Mars or Venus, better yet on the frikkin moon. No disturbances from puny humans.Next explain to me what makes the primes so awesome?And why is it that only a prime can kill the fallen?Also, if the Decepticon have figured out the Pretender shell technology, why the heck didnt they just use pretenders to infiltrate the army. Heck with like 5 pretenders in the NEST team, that awesome AUDI at the beginning would still be alive.

The only reason this movie is worth the watch is because of the fight scenes. Literally everything else is useless. Everything,..... anytime time the robots arent fighting you might as well walk out and take a piss break.

Uhh, was there a point to any of that mindless jabbering? I'll try to break down your impossibly poor formatted "paragraph" and answer a couple questions.

1) They were after the last remaining shard of the cube because it holds the knowledge of their race, or so they think.

2) Oh yeah, no disturbances to humans once the sun is gone? That kills all life on our planet genius. So regardless if they built it on earth or mars, we'd still be screwed, but for sake of making a movie, the Fallen landed on earth and wanted to build it here while simultaneously killing all humans because we are weak and he is strong.

3) The primes are so awesome because they are the original TF's and thus have the most powers. Didn't you see the Fallen doing some crazy teleportation and lifting objects up via mind control?

4) Because the Fallen is too strong, non-prime TF's wont be able to kill it.

5) Pretender tech, blah.

Did you even watch the movie!? Did you not pay attention to anything? They pretty much verbally explained everything which took all thought and reasoning skills out of trying to figure out the movie. Even a 10y/o could understand all of it since the dialog was so blatently obvious.

It's not like those suspenseful crime drama's where subtle details are thrown in that you must pick up and try to figure out on your own, no, this movie explains everything via dialog so even the most unintelligent can understand and figure it out.

Ok i was so pissed of when i was typing my post i forgot proper sentence and paragraph structure.....

1. You didnt understand what the decepticons wanted and thus i proved my point.They wanted the shard as so to find the machine, as so to destroy the sun, as so to get energon, as so not to rust and end up like JetFire. This Energon is also needed as so to birth hatchlings. Note they still didnt know where the Matrix was so this plan of theirs wasnt exactly water tight. its just a coincidence that Sam found the Matrix when the Fallen arrived on earth.

2. I meant to say, if the Fallen didnt want to get bothered by the Humans and the Autobots why didnt he just go and build the machine on Mars, Venus or the Moon. Unless he was in serious rush and this machine takes years and years to construct i dont see why he didnt just take his Decepticon army and go somewhere he wouldnt be bothered.

3. Primes are only awesome because the movie said they are. Those guys didnt seem all powerful or whatever, that levitation nonsense. Rubbish, teleportation?, thats just space bridge tech, the TFs just forgot how to do it, but they all can.

4. Fallen is too strong for 1 TF to kill him? But what if we have an army of TFs.Why does the fight have to be one on one. We know the Autobots have combiner technology, and parts siphoning. ur telling me they couldnt beat this one guy. Even when all the other primes worked together? That puts him in God Fire Convoy levels yet Optimus Prime took him down with relative ease and that was a two mech combination.

5. No response? Thats because it doenst make sense, if they can use pretender tech why not get the president and other high ranking officers. And make stealing the Shard easy on themselves.

I realize im not going to change ur opinion about this move, if you liked it, you liked it. Im just hoping i can point out the massive short comings, and youll be able to see, that maybe its not as good a movie as you initially thought it was.

Its 2 and a half hours of a broken story. i dont see how a movie with a broken story can be considered good.

i totally agree with you Nali, here is a review i posted on another site.

I thought the movie was terrible! Bad dialog, bad acting, way too freaking long, the horrible one liners, the plot, the lack of story, okay i might as well just say everything!

The only good quality was the sfx and even that came of as arbitrary on soooo many occasions.

The cussing was unnecessary, many characters were unnecessary, and nothing made sense.

Gundam affinity aside, the movie was awful and deserved the 22/100 rating it received on RT.

Two thumbs way down!

I tried to answer your questions directly without explaining the why's behind the why's behind the why's. Otherwise I would have talked about the matrix cube thing.

You have to remember that it's a movie and it's for entertainment. In that same respect, in all the terminator movies, if the terminators are strong enough to knock down walls, throw around huge metal beams ect, why do they just throw John and Sarah Connor around? When they grab them, why don't they just crush their heads? Bam, now you have a 30 min. long T1 and no other movies after that.

I'm done ranting about this movie, ive spread my hate pretty much all over the internet. inadvertently causing more people to see it, as people who weren't initially interested want to see what pissed me off so much

But the more i think about this movie the angrier i get, there are so many things done wrong....i mean completely wrong, what use are testicles on robot, why are the twins so offensive, why does wheelie leg hump megan fox, where is Barricade, why is bonecrusher in this movie.

If you liked the movie good for you, does it say something about the level coherency needed to entertain you? Somewhat.But everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Just saw TF2 at a drive-in movie theater. On the huge screen and the sound system in my Jeep it was pretty good. Plus it was a double feature with UP, which was also very good. Both movies for FOUR DOLLARS! It was awesome.

I've gotta see it in the IMAX though. My HT puts my local theater to shame (minus the screen that is), but the IMAX should have a much nicer audio system, which I'm currently looking into to find out just what brand and components they're using. That info is hard to find though.

The Imax in Chicago was renovated and all audio equipment is from Danley sound labs. TH50's (4 of them) comprise the bottom end, and his (name of speaker escapes me) is used for the front stage. All quality products.

I liked the movie the 1st time I saw it. But the 2nd time... OI... that's when my critical thinking started working. Man, this movie was bad. Not as bad as Wolverine & Terminator, but still very inconsistent in the story department. The comedy was pretty good though. I lol'd quite a bit.

And there were chicks in my theater that wer hotter than Megan Fox. She has definently descended to average, IMO...

Transformers 2 was such a disappointment.

The first one had more than enough plot holes, and instead of trying to fill them up Michael Bay created a plot trench worthy of the French country side during WW1. Nothing in the movie made sense, from the haphazard mention of Energon to the Matrix of Leadership.

The characters were horribly distorted into stereotypes and cliches. Why was Star Scream, the second to Megatron, a groveling hunchback? Why was Jet Fire, second to Optimus Prime, an old fart? What the hell were they thinking when making the two stereotypically black/ghetto hatchback robots?

The worst thing by far however was the rampant use of lame humor. I was for a good half of the movie.

If Transformers took itself somewhat seriously it would be a great movie. But once the initial "wow" of the fight scenes fades away all that's left is pathetic by even Hollywood standards.

Thats exactly what ive been trying to point out, this movie left a sour taste in my mouth. It was an abomination of a movie. I havent seen a movie this bad in a really long time.I couldnt understand what people were laughing at in the theatre, so i assumed it was just uncomfortable laughter. Very little of the movie was funny, and when the bots werent fighting the movie was unwatchable.

Im not sure if you are agreeing with me or not?JetFire looks badass in his G1, "my body is always upgrading" form, if they used that version of jetfire a nice story aspect would be to explore the history between him and starscream.
