Damn, Hayden, ID is freaking up there. You're practically in Canada by then. I've been up there a couple of times. Nice area, very touristy.

THey have a sweet golf course with a floating green on the lake.

Btw, you'd never get that thing smogged here. There's no emissions in Idaho. BAR would confiscate that thing if you tried. But I'd love to drive that around some of the roads up there (in the summer only though). I bet that SC pulls pretty hard.

That is, if BAR were open! As of last month, all BAR stations were closed down thanks to orders from The Governator himself. No money in the budget. Now, if an officer directs you to BAR, you go to your local smog check hookup and slide on by, STICK IT TO THE MAN!! check out the message on the BAR website http://www.bar.ca.gov/ yeah car tuners everywhere in CA are pretty happy about it.

We get tested in Ada county (where Boise is)! Never mind the surrounding counties where 30,000 people can drive smoking, dripping vehicles into the city every day! On the plus side, when we get a car that gets too old to pass smog anymore, we can drag it across the county line and sell it. We do have the ability to get an exemption if it is going to cost too much to fix it. I bought an old truck that had everything removed. As long as it passed the tail pipe testing, they would let it go.

Regarding the "QXFinder" in Hayden, I am impressed by the massive amount of custom work on that thing. I can't imagine that any if those body components were off the shelf. Did they add a false floor in the rear for all of the amps?

I wonder where they got the S/C from and if I can find one for my 3.3L. I can always register it in Canyon County to beat emissions.......

Nissan made a supercharger for the 3.3 , its on a few select xterras and frontiers. It will bolt up with a few changes like crank pulley, injectors, etc check out this thread zerothread/324069

I wonder how hard it would be to adapt it to the old 3.3L, like the one in my '98.

I know, but I believe there's quite significant changes. I believe for one, the entire intake manifold must be changed (obviously) but apparently the blower pully is misaligned with the rest of your pulleys, so you need to relocate your alternator or something like that. Also it wreaks havoc with your computer, which needs to be recalibrated, and lastly I heard it wouldn't clear the hood. I don't know how much of this is true or not, but I remember asking someone about it and it made it sound like it would become virtually a custom installation.

I'm gonna look this one up. Of course there's no better way of finding out than actually doing it. I should just get a blower off of the 3.3 and try hitching it up. If I have to cut the hood...oh well. I know a guy who is a great fabricator that could probably come up with a nice looking scoop.
