ha thanks man,

and alright here are some more pics, so i guess they welded the seems on the inside of the car, i dont know what for, he said itll be stiff because of this. the welds dont look badly rusted in person, just on camera. i vacuumed the car and i started to complete this wire brushing and painting, but it started raining so i had to stop. i really think a wire brush wheel will be alot easier to use. but its coming along better than i thought, im glad to see my self doing work on it. instead of letting it sit the whole time.

Mods, can you please change the name of the thread to say s13 iDRIFTs RHD build. that would be appreciated, now on to more pics.

D*MN RAIN!

UPDATE,

today i decided to finish the painting on the inside, and thats a check. Decided to put the Steering Rack in, check. YAY now i can finally steer it with a steering wheel. haha. Also painted that, and thats all for the day, it started getting dark. I also have a friend coming to look at the welds he needs to weld to the Right Right hand side, and hell let me know how much itll be. but on to the 2 pics.

Big project. Why does everyone want there cars to be RHD? In canada it makes them worth alot less. And they're abit of a pain to drive in a LHD enviroment.

the guy i talked to bout welding things over said hell do it for 50$, i think good deal, gonna do that. and then im kinda stuck on the Wire harness for now, but ill work on that when it comes down to it. today i wanted to go ahead and put a transmission in it, and a driveshaft if we have one. but rain stopped me from doing that! rain sucks!

and i have always wanted my car to be this way, and i finally got one. i know itll be a pain. thats just something ill have to get used to.

well the guy gave me everything that i needed to complete this swap, the only thing i believe he left out was the wire harness. i believe i need one to send off to nick at elite jdm, the reason being my harness is to short to flip over and make it work. anyway i could just get another harness and splice wires together?

That guy is messin with him. I don't think he likes people with RHD conversions, since I think he has the real deal Silvia. And of course the gear boxes are the same! The Sr20s here use the same trannys as in japan

thats because rhd conversions are sorta stupid

its still not a imported car

your doing it for the "look" and its not the same hype

and get some close ups of those welds of that firewall from the pics it looks a bit rough

Don't mean to be rude, but wouldn't it be easier to make your 240 with the engine in it already a right hand drive;rather than, starting from scratch. Or do you have to take the engine out when doing a right hand drive conversion?
