Just got my dori dori rims but have a problem with the wheels and my Q45 brake upgrade. I didn't realize that riveted rims have less clearence for brakes system. So I can't put on the front wheels the bolt in the back side of rims hits the caliper so I have to run around with my blitz in the front. Oh Well, I guess I'll just wait for my Tomei rims to come in and use them for daily driving. Oh BTW if you were wondering I had to take off the sideskirt cause I could get the jack under the car.

One question does the car look high? I've got HKS spring with some KYBs but kinda looks stock. I might switch over to the coilovers I've been saving to install at a good time. Heres a pic

It doesnt look stock, but if you want to get rid of the fender gap w/o having to spend an arm and a leg for coilovers than some sportlines or H&Rs will lower it more. But if you have the money, by all means get coilovers.

thanks for the comments, yeah actually I wasn't saving the coilovers but I didn't want to install them yet (this means lazy and my HKS with KYB is a good ride). I guess I will install them now. It not a hard install at all since they have the camber plates and upper pillow mount already installed on the coilovers it would be a quick 30 for all 4 corners.

2BN_S13,

Too bad if I knew you wanted a Wangan wing I would have sold one to you pretty cheap too from Japan and they are real TBO not china made ones. I brought over about 3 of the from Japan when I when there for TAS2004 and meet my GF's parents. Kept one for myself and sold the other 2 at about $80 each.

About the lip it is stock 1989 1990- USDM SE 240sx.

Hey Kim,I like the body style. Where did you get your front end and how much did you pay for it? I am jealous!!!! Oh and both wheels look fine. I have been looking for gun metal spokes and chrome on the outside myself. I noticed that you had 4 lug how did you get the Q45 rotors to work? Thx

Is that a "stock" Silvia front bumper with a pimpin lip? I'd like to do an S13 Silvia conversion but the stock bumper looks like *** to me.

Q45 brakes sound fun, but no 5 lug conversion?

[edit] Didn't read the post right above mine, same questions pretty much!

Yes, that's an OEM Silvia bumper, and OEM 89/90 240SX lip.Converting to 5 lug is only useful if you have your heart set on a certain set of wheels that only come 5 lug. The lugs don't affect the brakes at all, outside of getting the rotors redrilled for a couple bucks.

spacers... though if the clearance problems are what i think they are, you might need a pretty beefy spacer to fix your problem.

you can make any wheel fit on anything you want. how bad do you want them?

Thank again for the comment of the car. I'm gonna put on the switch to the coilovers

I got the front from a company out here in Socal that went out of business (like so many other companys for car stuff) I paid 350 for bumper and fender, $60 for lights (corner, head, grill) from friend in Japan, CF hood $320 (VIS sucks!!!! poor quality) =$730 no tax all in cash.

I had to redrill the rotors just like SeVa-S13 said, I had the GTO font conversion kit with 300zx rear but I decide not to go with that since SeVa-S13 is right again, I was going to put some Work RSZ-R wheels on my car but didn't like the offset of the wheels I had so I sold the rims and the 5 lug conversion kit.

Here another pic of my bumper if you like it. This pic was taken while I was reinstalling the front end after paint.

The sideskirts are AIT but I would look for the OEM ones these are coming in contact with my door, so the paint is coming off of them

So do I. About the OEM corner lights in the front.Does the clear/silver part attached to the fender have any sort of bulb in it? I mean the part that borders the outside projectors. Or is it just for show/to fillin the space? I guess anyone with a front conversion could answer this quickie.
