My 1st was a ticket for dead tags on the 240. I actually had a rookie cop being trained by another (d!ck) cop. He kept forgetting questions and what to do. It was funny watching him trying to be hard, but he wasnt.

lol ill be 23 in september and had my license the day i turned 17. i've been pulled over like 10 times but always warnings and a lot of blah blah blah. some cops are cool, majority of them are ***holes and could care less about them.

p.s. the cop didnt even know what kinda car i had, it just said nissan on the ticket since i debadged the car, and i drive on dealer plates so theres no registration or insurance needed :) surprisingly he didnt say anything about my exhaust

Ya i was doin 77 in a 45 in a speed trap. Sheriff pulled me over, and gave me a break.

I was in a gutted 92' hatch with rebuilt KA stupid loud exhaust, bass, strut bars and lowered. Had a huge dent down the side of it, and was 5 speed but it ran good as hell and was a little quick so.

I'm surprised I got a break.

My first ticket was for 50 in a 45 when I was 17 (Maxima full of teenagers, cop magnet).

My second ticket was for 80 in a 65 in my Q45. Got clocked at 85 but the cop let 5 of it slide. He was pretty annoyed with me because I'd been doing some irritated lane changing to get past some left-lane-blocking fogeys. My own damn fault.

No other tickets but those for me.

My first and only was one of the lovely speed camera vans we have around here. Most of them have disappeared as funding has been cut except for a few cities. They usually have posted warnings that tell you the camera/van is coming up, but that is only if the limit is above 45.

On the road I was on it was 40. I passed by with my speedo showing 50. My wheels/tires have a bigger diameter so I was going 52. You have to be going 11 over to get flashed. FML.

Got a ticket in the mail, but ended up waiting until they personally served me the ticket. The ticket was $225 but ended up paying like $250 or so doing traffic school. No points.

Between 16 and 19 I got my fair share of moving violations:

1. Rolling stop - 2001, my buddy actually ran the stop sign but he came after me instead.

2. 51mph in a 35mph zone - 2001, going down a side road, thought the limit was 45 and I was wrong.

3. 51mph in a 35mph zone - 2003, another back road, I wasn't going that fast but the cop said otherwise.

4. Failure to yield to oncoming traffic - 2004, this one wasn't my fault, the girl was using the turn lane to get around traffic and somebody had let me come through, she nailed me and didn't even hit the brakes. She somehow wasn't at fault though, and I ended up with a totaled Mustang that I had only owned for 2 weeks.

5. 70mph in a 35mph zone - 2004(3 days after the wreck!), this one was my fault for sure, I wasn't paying attention and was talking to a friend, look up and notice the cop, then look back down and notice how fast I was going. I lost my license for 6 months thanks to this one, it's real impressive when you're a manager of an auto parts store, and you have to ask the employee that you wrote up earlier in the day for a ride home

I was basically an idiot between 16-19, I still feel like the first two speeding tickets could've been avoided but it all taught me a lesson. I haven't had a ticket in 7 years, or even been pulled over, and plan on keeping it that way :yesnod

Holy crap, speed cam vans??
Holy crap, $250 and traffic school??
Holy crap, no points??

I got a 22 over but was let off for just speeding. It was crap how it happened but it was only like $130-150, something like that.

I get pulled over like 3 times a year for my exhaust. Its bullcrap. I think I only have 2 moving violations. Crossing double yellow lines and speeding.

Yeah, I got 3 points for the toll thing. It was stupid. I told him to walk back 10 and I could guarantee the sign said the toll was for the exit only, but he just walked back to his car. Oh well.

let's see, i got:
a verbal warning for 45 in a 35
a ticket for 45 in a 25 (it was at 10:30 at night by my college on a weekday)
a ticket for tailgating a car which wasn't really tailgating since i merged behind it to pass a semi
and a ticket that the officer threw out for 89 on a 70.

I don't even know where to start on mine...

50 in a 35
Wreckless driving (reduced from fleeing and attempting to allude)
Window tint
^ All of those from 1 stop
60 in a 45
2 (or 3?)stop sign tickets
DUI
Failure to Maintain lane
Open container
60 in a 45 (again)
No proof of insurance
1 seatbelt ticket
Driving on a limited permit
That's all I can think of right now. I am also only 23 but 90% of those happened within my first 5 years of driving. Been keeping it clean for the last 2 years or so.

Just remembered 83 in a 70.

Got my first ticket before I even had my license, It was in my Mom's awesome 5spd Maxima I30. Was having a conversation with my Dad and didnt realize I was doing 77 in a 65 with a speedtrap going on. fk motorcycle cops... They slammed ME with another ticket for the inspection being out (one month out, didnt even know) Got that one dismissed, and had to pay $200 somethin for the speeding, At least it aint goin on my record but it still sucks.

And all that happened like 2 miles away from home! who'd a thunk? :chuckle:

65 MPH in a 35 MPH ticket thrown out because I showed I was on my way to jury duty. The judge was tickled pink that I was in that much of a hurry to get to jury duty.

Got 2 warnings in one day, first was for doing 38 in a 25, I guess the speed limit changes for a couple blocks and goes back to 35...wtf? and 2nd cop that day said I wasnt driving straight, maybe it was cause I was watching him in my rearview mirror. hah, I got a reckless driving ticket for sliding in a empty movie theatre parking lot, got it knocked down to careless and only payed like $90 bucks.

Haha, mine was a 50 in a 40.
I was testing my car after I got the timing set and I hit 50 in no time on the downward slope.

i got a ticket on an atv over a year ago, for not having an atv operators permit $190 fine, reduced to something like $50. it was made a law in january and i got the ticked january 17, no one i have talked to even knows about these new special permits you need.

so...

now my insurance (traveler's) is dropping my entire family because they said i was driving on a suspended license. i have never had a suspended license. my insurance company said that because of our "convictions" they are dropping us. my mom has had one ticket in the last 20 years and i had a speeding ticket 4 years ago or so.

im going to request my driving record from the dmv and fax it to the insurance company. has anyone ever had this happen? any advise?

i hate seatbelts lol. im getting some buckets and racing harnesses so at least they wont suck as much. besides this ticket i had

50 in a 35, warning
30 in a 20, i was actually going 25 and thought the limit was 25, cop was dumb, warning
stopped for a rejected sticker in my friends jeep, warning
stopped for tint, exhaust, warning
stopped for cutting someone off? warning
stopped for no front plate, i told him i only get a plate for the rear since i have a dealership. he asked where my registration and inspection stickers were, dealership. he asked a few other questions which i didnt really listen to cause he was dumb and just wanted to give me a ticket, but he had nothing. i even put my seatbelt on real quick when i saw him pull out

some cops actually do real work. others just find stupid hiding spots and pull people over for bs reasons

Charlieo, watch the name calling. You know the rules. Next time I see it, it will be a week vacation.

First ticket was a 90 in a 65 contruction zone.

Secon was a seatbelt violation, while I was actually wearing my seatbelt. Cop thought I wasn't wearing it, because I had to adjust it after rolling down my passenger window in My old 3.

Third was a fix it ticket for my expired reg tags. The new one was in the mail. Cop said something along the lines of "we both know that it's been paid for, but here's your ticket." WTF? I still had to pay $24 to have some cop come out and verify that they were on.

Lolwut?

Out of the 6 years I've been driving, I've only received two tickets...both for expired tags.

1st one I received was during the first few weeks I started driving. Paid for it, didn't get pulled over in the following months, etc. and it was off my record.

2nd one was a couple years later...Same thing, but when I went in to pay it and show that I renewed the tags...basically, a receptionist (?) threw out the ticket. (probably has to do with me going in to take care of the ticket literally a day after I got it? :gotme )
