My first ticket was going 45 in a 35 (snoozer)

Second was going 45 in a 20, school zone.

8 months apart, pulled over by the exact same dark gray unmarked charger r/t. bleh

The next 3 times i got pulled over, i was let off. The first two where a gliding stop sign, the last was for having 3000k low beams.

In the traffic school I had to attend for the school zone violation, the somewhat attractive lady cop taught us that cops give you brownie points for turning your car off and throwing you keys on the dash, everyone thought she was loopy but she was serious. So I did just that the next 3 times I got pulled over and what do you know, it worked. (for me at least)

TL;DR

1) Rob a Bank
2) Get involved in police chase
3) Pull over, turn off car and throw keys on dash
4) Cops issue a warning
5) ?????????????
6) F*CK YEAH.

:rotfl Dont you sell home insurance or something? I bet car insurance reps hear some pretty wild things pretty often.
Yeah, I definitely learned my lesson on that DUI. Complete s***. I got stopped at a roadblock like less than half a mile from my apartment. Blew a .219... Also, as far as insurance goes, I do home, car, accident, health, life, retirement. etc.

After 10 years of driving I finally got a speeding ticket this year going 78 in a 55.
Wasn't my car, no sleep, and downward slope.
387 bucks and an online traffic course and I still have a clean record.

1. 19 over. Paid by mail.
2. improper registration, dropped.
3. Old Registration, fault of the dealership and DMV, lost ticket, didn't show to court, got a bill and paid that.
4. Friend ran a red in my s13 coupe and got my car's picture taken, paid that $50 ticket and got the money from him.

I have plus points on my license at least 3 IDK if you can have more but I know cops look me up and leave.

Pulled over for doing 85, when limit was 65. Officer wrote it down to 75. He probably helped out, because he saw from my license that the day before was my 19th bday.

Let's see. I've been driving for 22 years.

One ticket when I was in college for not coming to a complete stop at a sign. It was 2:30 in the morning and the only two cars around were me and the cop hiding behind a dumpster.

One ticket when I first moved to chicago doing 43 in a 35 on Lake Shore Drive. Traffic school wiped it.

One ticket 3 years ago on my way to work, late for a meeting, keeping up with traffic doing about 70 in a 55 on I-355 south.

That's it. Three tickets.

You might be one of the few people ever pulled over on 355 going less than 90...

SB LSD at Michigan is a speed trap. Shame on me for that one.

But SB I-355 during the morning rush -- I was in the middle lane getting passed on both sides by vehicles doing at least 80-85. I think of it like being the slowest gazelle in the herd when the cheetah decides to pounce. He just caught me because I was the easiest target. I was still breaking the law, so I don't b**** about it. :)

I wasn't saying you should complain. I've learned that to be pointless. However, with the plethora of cars regularly going 100+ on 355, it is shocking that the officer felt a vehicle traveling 75 posed the greatest risk.
