I get my 240 back finally after two years. I had a t-28 put on it off a gti-r engine and wow what a difference race saturday night and freight train a ton of cars, anyway get on the free way today and as I am getting back off the car starts missing real bad. pull the spark plugs and the tips were white and the porceilin was discolored. So its running to lean at 13 -15 lbs of boost check my coils pack cylinder 2 and 3 were gone so I need new coil packs. and to richen the car a little bit. Any suggestions on where I can get new coils? on top of that my 2007 subaru 2.5 i took a **** on me

The subaru they didn't find anything wrong with???? which is kinda crazy but whatever.

Thanks for the coil pack thing I guess I was wondering if the spit fire system is really worth the cash?

Well, considering the the coil packs range from $75-130 a piece from Advance I'd say the upgrade to the Splitfires is worth it. They are $420 for the set from http://www.frsport.com w/free ground shipping, vs. stock coil at $300+tax for the cheapest one they had. So if you have the extra $ I'd get the splitfire ones, just my .02. I don't know how good the splitfires are but they a good brand.

You're probably running too much boost on the injectors. Probably have 370cc injectors still? Maxing injectors out will make your engine go kaboom.

ya if your on the stock 370's then you are boosting too much at 14psi or more and leaning out..i wouldnt go past 13. also you should look around on the classifieds section for some coilpacks or ebay before you spend that much..ive seen plenty of them for 100-150 for a set from guys on here..and oh ya why did it take two years to put on a gtir turbo

I checked the 300zx coil packs and they are showing something completely different then the coil packs in my redtop. Its taken two years just to put the car back together not just the turbo, to clarify. Also I need to find a redtop valve cover gasket.

Several NICO vendors have coil packs and all the gaskets you need.

This is the SR parts cross guide thread. It says that the coils from 90-95 300zx work as someone already previously posted. Did you physically look a 300zx coil or just some standard pic on advance or autozone? I have never had to get one so I don't know, but if you find that the packs are physically different than post that in the Sr parts guide thread.
