take your gates part number to any parts store they will get you the proper belt.I did this at my local place and they gave me Dayco belts and they worked fine. The guy told me that part numbers for belts are standardized. So they can cross-reference them easily. K050370 Alt K040345 P/S K 05 0370....05 indicates # of ribs, 0370 indicates length of the belt. K signifies its made my Gates.

Also...for those running standalones that use GM style connectors (Electromotive, etc.), a 1998 Corvette coolant temp sensor threads right into the stock sensor location and of course uses a GM style connector.

The o ring sits behind the front cover bascially under the water pump. The timing chain tension side guide for USDM spec is better than the JDM one since the USDM one is metal while the JDM is all plastic. The intake collector gasket is different from the SR20DE. So is the turbo inlet gasket from that of the VG30DETT. You'll have to take a file to the gasket's bolt holes to make it fit. I'll list more erratta as I encounter them with my build up.

The connecting rods from the DE will work in the DET.FYI guys, the DOHC KA and the SE-R spark plugs will work in the SR20DET. checked with NGK australia for the part numbers and got PFR6B-9 for double platinum plugs and got BKR6EIX for the iridium plugs. Checked NGK USA and found the BKR6EIX-11 are DOHC KA and SR20DE plugs. The DET uses a smaller gap, 0.036" unlike the DE that uses a 0.044" gap but according to NGK's website gapping/closing the NGK plugs is not recommended < or > 0.08" so we can tap it closer. Or you can just leave it since I was told by HT that the gaps are the same for the SE-R as the DET.

question for my redtop s13 sr20det. anyone know about the 5/6 plug on my harness for the tps? i have one like this, some say it only comes with the 50mm throttle body. wich im not sure if mine is or not. it doesnt hook up to my sr20det wiring harness, because my harness is only for 3 plugs or something. some also say that i can replace the tps with one from a 91-94 usdm sentra ser? is this right? bolt up?thanx -Lor

the SE-R's is compatable with the turbo SR's. Just make sure you've a 3 wire plug. I've not seen the 5 or 6 wire TPS for the SR's, all of them I've seen are 3.

i need the throttle cable bracket, the one above the throttle body that holds the end of the cable and that you tighten the nuts down on the cable so it doesn't move. make sense? it's for sr20det redtop. is it the same one off a regular sr20de?

Its not a crossover part. The part number is 16165-52F00. The rubber insulator is 18316-52F00. You might be able to adapt the KA holder to the SR intake manifold.

Update: The ARP main studs for the most part will clear the upper oil pan, but the last two on the drivers side (if you're looking at the motor while on a stand with cylinders pointing down) will not clear the upper oil pan. You can trim these down.

The Part number for the insulator injector is 16636-53J00. It is common on a lot of Nissan injectors (most SR's, KA's, GA's) so go look for them at the local Nissan dealership.

Just did some playing with oil drain plugs. For the redtop SR20 with a stock oil pan the 93 Sentra SE-R plug DOES NOT WORK. (it didn't for me at least)The one from the 93 240sx (Ka24de) works great. It's the same part as the NA 300zx from the same year. (Maybe the turbo 300 too but i didn't look at the part number) Also i just did a head rebuild and the exhaust valve guids and valve seals are not the same as the SE-R either. I had to get mine from JWT. I'm sure that's on the list somewhere though.

all of the trans plugs for a KA tranny should swap over. In fact, I just recently put a 95 S14 reverse sensor into a redtop trans and it worked. As far as timing chain goes. Everything will cross over that is in the FWD SR chain kit. The only part that will not work is the exhaust cam. The FWD SR drives it's distro off the rear of the exhaust cam whereas the RWD SR drives it off of the cam gear. I had to reuse my exhaust cam gear when I did my chain a few weeks ago.
