B MagicOrigin

I think Extreme Dimensions is a site sponsor - hit them up.

Break tradition - don't put lights under this car. That's so 1999...

LoL why are you so against the underglow? What horrific accident caused you to hate the led so much??

I've never seen underglows on a car and liked it. To me, it's the epitome of worthless modification. Put the money and effort into something more worthwhile.

Just my two Abes' worth.

I have to agree with you partially some look like total crap, but to me its about where you put the lights like on the vert, the one im going to put in the front is going to sit in the mouth of the front end running behind the vents below the lights, making the whole front end come alive. I think with proper placement it would look boss just need the time and notebook to do all the measurments. which after sunday I have a week off of work so I might be trying it that weekend. you never know when I post the pics after im done you might want one...

Underglow + Stock Vert = FAIL

IMO of course. It's your car.

Still having no luck tracking down a 5 speed in my area, im willing to drive to texas or all the way to florida if need be, and for those of you who have aftermarket radios, do you know if they where hard wired in or do they use a wiring adapter crimpped into the radio? I want to make sure I go get the right tools, the 3 different audio shops here in town give me three different answers and not one of them could supply me with a wiring diagram.

It's been a while since I've installed a radio, but if I remember correctly you have to hard wire in a harness that will plug into the harness on the radio.

HELP!!!!

Driving home tonight it killed on me 9 times within 2 miles. Everything is spinning freely. Plenty of oil and its getting spark and fuel. It will kill at random times. Also I doubt if its related but when i turn the wheel right or left it screams like a lose belt. Im worried that the timing chain is smoked or the distributor took a crap on my chest. anyone have this problem before??

Sounds like a alternator problem. Most likely your belt(s) is/are lose, causing you to lose power and die. Also, because it was in a flood, check wires going to and from the battery and alt for corrosion. Just what id do as a quick look over.

Well I was able to track down that issue, it was a hose running from my pcv valve to the air intake. That was intresting trying to find that hose, ended up getting 8 inches of fuel line to reconnect them. A buddy of mine is fixing me up with a new dash, a five speed transmission and all the goodies, a new power steering pump and new rear brake callipers for my vert for a decent price, now all I need to do is track down my digital speedo and HUD unit and I'll be set till I'm ready to throw my rb25 in sometime in march. Now if I could fix my damn door panels I'll be doing good...

Well the vert is about to go up on stilts for a while in the driveway. At Least for a couple of days. My entire paycheck went to replacement parts.New brakes for all four cornersNew Rotors and calipers for the rearNew PCV valveNew fuel filter for under the hood and had to replace the top fuel line and the two small rubber links coming out of the fuel rail...that was fun...Got the five speed in the trunk just waiting for a flywheel and cross member to install it.All the replacement serpintine beltsNew Power Steering Pump...shoot me please...

I have also been toying around with the idea of installing a K&N air intake on this car, anyone done this before? any tricks/ Quirks I should know about??

And just a pipe dream but how hard would it be to do a s14 conversion like so?I really like that styling and I would love to see that on the vert, anyone got any feed back?

I got the overheating issues fixed for the moment but I am pretty sure next week something else will go wrong. After beating on it with a stick for about 3 weeks and getting it running I decided to treat it out to a new set of shoes. 17in 4x4.5 with a +42mm offset Hd tuning rims. Wrapped with Kumho Escata 215/40/17s.
