i work at a car dealer, and a doctor just traded in a 93 white twin turbo supra, 6 speed, new body, with 60K miles, and in perfect condition. they are going to wholesale it in a couple days, and they asked if i wanted to buy it for whoesale price before they sell it to the whoesaler. they will sell it to me for $10,000. i have always loved supra's, and this thing is awsome. it is probably worth almost $20K if you know anything about supra's you know that this is an extremely good deal. i drove the car and it drives awsome and is so fast. i need to decide in like 2 days. it is in perfect condition, inside and out. any suggestions??? thanks.

Yeah, I dont think that there is really any question here. I'm sure that most of these guys (myself included) have dreams where stuff like that happens to us. Buy the car. If you don't have the money, do whatever you can to get it.

Even if you don't want to keep the car, it is worth buying as an investment.

Examples:

Example 1

Example 2

Example 3

The car that you are looking at is in better condition than all three, and all three are going for well over $20,000.

Buy it.

don't even think about it! in no category does a 240 or much else come close to a supra! you are talking about a completely different class of car, and if you don't buy, keep, mod, and flex, then you are a complete idiot! buy it now, and if you don't email me at [email protected].

Seriously, what kind of question is that?

That car is the top of the food chain, man! if you want, and you have a high speed connection, or even if you don't, I can send you a video with the supra featured on it. it's way worth it even if you have dial-up.

damn, sorry I kinda went off there, it's my dream car, and I would go into massive amounts of debt if I got a deal like that...

I dont know much about how dealerships work but why would they wholesale it when it seems like it would be such an easy sell, these are one of the most desired cars ever made. Why dont they want to make the easy money?

]i never said that its in the same class as a 240 ,but honestly, id buy the supra, sell it, and have an rb25 powered 240 with cheaper insurance and no debt, sounds more logical to me, unless u have money coming out of ur hole

how are you gonna insure a jdm motor in a us made car?

minor bolt ons will give you lots of pleasure, not to mention horsepower, and you will pass inspection without having to come out of pocket like an sr or rb motor.

it's also a '93, insurance wouldn't be as bad as you think...

wouldn't you give your left nut just to say it's yours? let me send you the video, and then tell me your 240 is a better car. I'm driving and eclipse right now that will waste most of the sr's on here, and I'm selling it for the 240, so I know the appeal, but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAN, BUY IT!

It's a test. This is the kind of crap that you will regret not doing, and when you tell your kids later on, it will only be more proof that your a dork.(not calling you a dork, I'm just sayin'...)

ur not understanding dude, first of all if u read my sig, i dont own a 24o, and also, dont tell ur insurance about the sr, duh, and i never said the 240 is a better car, ITS NOT, just more logical for the average person (or so it seems) and also, id like to know what kind of mods u have on ur eclipse and what model u have, that will just 'waste' SRs around u, not that a bone stock SR is balls to the wall fast, but hte only eclipse that would be able to keep up would also be turbo'd or maybe a stock GSX

my bad, you are right about the price difference, but the supra's my favorite car. ignore the other thread, I mistook you for the guy wanting the supra.

My car is turbo'd, a gst, and btw the gst is faster that the gsx on the hwy, but is governed at 137 (or about that, mine hits at 137) the gsx doen't have a governor. oh, and my car isn't stock, either. and no nos.

Heck, if I could get it for $10k and it was in good working order as you say it is, I would even take out a loan if necessary, that is so worth it! Whether or not you sell it is all up to you, but it is worth buying! I saw a COMPLETELY totalled one on ebay going for over $6k, and it was missing the passenger side of the cabin (It was wrapped around something quite severely). DO IT!

i know that this is the chance of a lifetime, and that i will never have another chance like this again, but i am in college, and already going to be in debt from school loans so i cant really be taking out more for this. i can afford it if i sell my car because i have another $4K in the bank now and i know i could get $8K for my car. it just depends on insurance on the supra.

this damn video is taking forever, but I'll get it to you tonight if I can, but if you don't have it in the next half hour, it won't happen today. if you get it and watch it, let me know if you've seen it already, or if you want the second one.

ahh the legendary supra, this is the stuff import fans wet-dreams of made of, honestly you would be sutpid not to buy it, there is nothing like a mk IV toyota supra, insurance will cost you an arm and a leg though, buy the car and sell then laugh all the way to the bank
