is any one running one of these turbos with a megan mani?
if so how did you clock/route your hot pipe?

i cant seem to clock this pos anywhere that makes sense so for now i cut the motor mount to drop the motor. i have hockey pucks to replace the mounts.
but any case, the fuel system is stock and i will wire in my aem truboost and keep the gt28 @ 8psi till i get some better injectors.

pref. some deatschworks 440cc. and nistune flash.
thanks

Why would anyone prefer D-works injectors? Thats like saying you prefer the hooker who has syphilis. Just to let you know d-works injectors are crap. They have huge differences in flow rates between injectors. I am trying to be cool because a guys who uses hockey pucks for motor mounts must be stretching every dollar hes got to make a car run. But maybe you are moving to fast. Slow down and save some dough and buy some real parts.

It a bad sign when you boost controller costs as much as your turbo. I have heard the godspeed ones are okay. I would of went with a ISIS turbo first though, you can get a warranty with it.

As far as hot pipe clocking maybe you can use a modified mid-pipe with t-bolt/v-band , clamps to make a connection from turbo to hotpipe. Dropping the whole motor seems like surgery, when all you needed was Tylenol.

this is my dd, and i have limited space/funds. so i gotta work with what i have. hockey pucks wont last, and the gt28 is only a bandaid for my garrett gt2871r.

i had to pull the motor for various reasons. i had cashflow till recently, thats why i have aem and godspeed in one chassis :[
please dont haaaate me

i have no probs with any of my d-werks. my 750's for example flow tested from d-werks and jwt both to be 748cc/751cc,753cc,749cc. sound like perfectly fine injectors to me. my 550's were 552,551,552,549. again, no prob there

Anything man made is going to break or have some defects. Overall D-werks injectors work fine. I got Deutschwerks 550's . Good injectors comes with a flow chart.

You might have to angle it toward the shock tower. Pics would be nice of the issue you are having.

Oh my. Turbo probably would be fine if you got a T3 top mount manifold. When you bought this turbo, did it say it was for a bottom mount?? What type of bottom mount manifold do you have now??

Get a hold of who ever you bought that turbo from and let them know they are full of $h!t ! Send them pictures of it and build a case to get your money back!! :bs: Bolt on means very little to no modification. It shouldn't be hitting anything in it's place. Correction about the top mount you need a T2 top mount manifold to make that turbo work out for you. Plus another custom down pipe. The Meagan manifold should be fine and most of them are the same.

See I tried that but ken @ godspeedproject just kept me on hold so I said f*** it. I got the turbo for the price of a t380 so im content. You think if I reclocked it to the shock towerand modified the wastegate bracket to bolt in to another hole?

Yeah at this point I think that would actually work lol. The hose for the wastegate will probably have to be longer or reroute it around the turbo. I dunno. We will have to see when you get there. Hopefully you won't get it in the way of the oil lines. Let me know what's up with it. :)

Edit - Looks like if you turn the neck counter clockwise toward the shock tower + move the wastegate to the bottom of the turbo, it should work!!

I'm thinking if you turn the neck only unbolt the 2 bolts that hold the waste gate and bolt them back when you get the neck facing out. The distance should be the same to bolt it back when you change the waste gate to different holes. I'm hoping it works.

We tried that but the bolts aren't 100% even. There is a nice amount of metal in the bracket and I am just going to drill to make work

Ah I see. Yeah you might have to drill out the hole bigger in the bracket to make the bolt fit. May not look pretty but hey if it works go for broke!! Nobody is going to pay attention to that anyways. Better get a bada$$ bit to do it though.

i honestly have to ask, why a godspeed turbo. you know you could get a used s15 t28 in flawless condition for that same price and it will still be worth close to that if you decide to sell it and go bigger. I just bought one for a buddy from mr_ca18det on here for $475 shipped and the only way you can tell its used is the inside of the exhaust housing is black like normal.

I hope you get everything working tho. Good luck man

The godspeed turbo you have is definitely for a bottom mount system. My S14 turbo looks exactly the same and that is where it sits. Its kind of hard to tell in the pic you have but it looks like all you need is the correct header and downpipe to make it work. I can get both pretty cheap because I just happen to live in Japan and these cars, although right had drive over here, are everywhere. The downpipe for these cars though might be different than the left hand drive cars.

Correction to my last post: I just looked at your picture again and realized the direction your turbo is facing is actually different than mine. My connection for the hotpipe turns up instead of down like the one you have. So there is a little bit of difference. I don't know if that helps you though.

Any update as far as performance of these? I've got a budget project that only needs a turbo upgrade to be complete. Also would it be possible to flip this turbo backwards for a fwd?

I bet with a .065 oil restrictor and a professional balance on a new unit, they would last.

Godspeed as far as customer support and service will never hear from me again. Ive been delighted to do business with Enjukuracing, so when i need something i get it from them.

Now, on to the GT28 by Godspeed. its an oil fed AND cooled so i had to block the water ways on my block and water neck. Installation was a pain in the a** due to having to reclock the turbo, modify the wastegate bracket, and mock up a custom hot pipe route and intake.

performace, these are temporary turbos AT BEST. i have limited funds so i used it. Right now i have the damned this off the motor AGAIN and the exhaust wheel is no where to be found. like seriously, no where. it was smoking real bad, and i found the answer.

if someone could find me a "mint t28 BB for under $500" pm me. but i am looking at enjuku's RS3871. its priced well, has great customer service, and is water and oil cooled. Does anyoe have any experience with it?

but yeah, my car stays on jackstands more than i can drive it cuz of chinese bullshiz.
