Very cool! The car looks great.

One question, why is the "s" on the side of the car not filled in, looks like it says God Peed from a distance.

yea, but godspeed sucks, right NICO? all the people who say godspeed is the worst, this pretty much slaps you in your face. that's what happens when you think you know about stuff but have never really tried them out.

OP, beautiful car. great job

Wait, I'm confused. You got 2nd place in "drift class" with a lap time? And I don't see any pictures of that thing drifting.

I think I understand how you got 2nd. Godspeed keeps all the good parts for itself.

I was wondering the exact same thing. The trophy says drift class, then underneath it says 2nd place drift. I see no drifting at all.

What does "drift class" constitute? RWD? Body kit? Hype?

I want to see some shock dyno sheets and skid pad results of the coilovers brand new and after they have been tracked for 6 months. Only once that information is provided will I consider Godspeed coilovers as a legitimate option for a reliable suspension setup.

Ken, since you seem to be affiliated with Godspeed, I'll gladly do an in-depth review of the Godspeed coilovers, especially after the 2 month mark, 4 month mark, etc. I can even try to get them to a shock dyno to see how the valving is. That would be real world data that everyone would benefit from, and more people might start trusting your products.

+1 for this.I want a shock dyno.If the results are good, many people will start buying your products. But for now, FortuneAuto coils have my love.

Congrats on the win Ken!Car looks cool.

True dat homie, Fortune is the only company I've ever seen shock dyno data from, at least in the sub $1000 range. Plus they're semi-local, all the track events I've been to one of the main Fortune guys has been out there as well.

I'd be more than happy to do a review of the Godspeed coilovers. I don't even care if I get to keep the coilovers, I like writing haha.

Haha.I'd be happy to do a review as well, but I don't have access to a shock dyno so it'd be pointless.

I'm also interested if the dampening knob does anything, I remember a long time ago someone did tests on some coilovers and all 4 corners had different dampening to begin with, and the knobs were totally useless and pointless. Sometimes they'd get stiffer when you put it to full soft, and vice versa.

The fact that FortuneAuto can proudly show off their shock dyno, says a lot about them.

Now the issue is getting the money to purchase them, haha.

Conflicting for sure. Cool pics, but I have seen the parts first hand. Blown coils less then 6 months old on a street car, cross-threaded rods, loose joints, so so welds, and boxes filled with red paint chips. Just because they have a track car doesn't make their product better.

I wonder if the drove it on a trailer so the parts wouldn't break on the way there?

P.S. I like the pictures tho....

i would guess it was because the "s" in their logo is red and if they were to make the "s" on the side a solid red, it'd be even harder to see on the red body, so they went with a white outline.

A company called Windflower.

One of the best Taiwanese manufacturers out there. <3

I wonder if you can buy direct from Windflower. They make a bunch of suspension arms as well...

All of their coilovers and suspension arms are made by Windflower of Taiwan, but all of their fabricated stuff, such as intercoolers, super angle knuckles, cobra downpipe, etc are made in house in their shop in San Diego.

That's interesting. I bet you could get some PBM and just have them custom valved to match the spring rates you want. Then, BOOM cheaper than FA but should be just as good quality. Thats the problem with off the shelf coilovers is they aren't shock dynoed and valved correctly for spring rates.
