I was wondering the exact same thing. The trophy says drift class, then underneath it says 2nd place drift. I see no drifting at all.

What does "drift class" constitute? RWD? Body kit? Hype?

I want to see some shock dyno sheets and skid pad results of the coilovers brand new and after they have been tracked for 6 months. Only once that information is provided will I consider Godspeed coilovers as a legitimate option for a reliable suspension setup.

Ken, since you seem to be affiliated with Godspeed, I'll gladly do an in-depth review of the Godspeed coilovers, especially after the 2 month mark, 4 month mark, etc. I can even try to get them to a shock dyno to see how the valving is. That would be real world data that everyone would benefit from, and more people might start trusting your products.
Sure im looking forward to it.

Thanks

May I know which Version you have? if is still under 1 year we will warranty it

Thanks

P.S. I like the pictures tho....
lol....yea the Track is 250 miles away from our shop, and if you ever been/drive to Buttom willow the road there wasnt that prefect and the car is really stiff so if we drive the car there, the driver probably dont have any more energy to go time attack and with that much of sticker on the car I dont think is a good idea to drive there lol

I don't have you coils, I have BC racing ones, but I do have your sway bars. They are from early 2007, and the welds were somewhat that of bubble gum, but my friend is a welder so we fixed it with a tig.

But a few member here have blow out the coilovers in no time at all, and I have see other flaws first hand.

what are your sway bars on? because i have godspeed sway bars front and rear in my car, maybe i need to check those out next time im under the car

there was a local guy that bought some godspeed coilovers and had them taken apart and inspected bye a local shop that repairs coilovers (they mostly work on sport bikes) and they said the coilovers looked like they were fairly well designed other than being alot heavier than they should be, and he drifted on them for a year and said he no problems.

but like other people have said in other threads it could be a quality control issue, some of their coils are good and some may only last a month, i caught $hit from alot of people for putting Ksports on my car back in 06 but they are still holding up just fine and have probably 15k on them, with quite a few drift events thrown in.

i have a godspeed intercooler kit on my SR and i havent had any problems so far, but as far as coils maybe you guys should work on quality control, or maybe offer a 2 year warranty for the people that are worried about it.

If that car has the same suspension arms available to consumers I'd be flat out scared to drive it on a track. Car looks good on the outside though.

Well, in order to do that I would first need some Godspeed coilovers.

Want to send me some? I'll review and update on them then return them in a year's time, so they'll still be under warranty and will have been thoroughly tracked.

Last time i checked the "Drift Class" means that the car has been in a drift event and/or is setup for drifting. So pretty much its just taking a drift car and racing it around a track

Good question.... that'd be pretty interesting honestly. But inconclusive untill this upcoming april if he did. Still could get good input on intial thought and ride quality. Megan is very well established now and I think godspeed could be on their level if they're around as long as megan has been now... But only time can tell. A good product will make a niche and stick around. A bad product will loose any chance of repeat business and will eventually go under.... Economics 101 will teach you that.

Well I just saw their tension rods..... 2 months old, 900 miles, on my neighbors S13 that does not drift, its his daily. The heims are siesed, wont stay tight even with red thread locker, and the boots are falling off. He replaced them with Battle Version.

Please, don't buy this stuff.

Coilovers are decent. Ive drove on them in s14s and s13s. But my rear lower control arms were sketchy to the max. I was afraid to even put them on my car. I sold em for $35.
