Yeah, i'll take it the KA. I need one for my new test project. I wanna break the record for the most blown up KA's ever!

T2 bottom mount turbo, 91 octane, 30 psi boost. Sounds like a great setup for a stock motor. I hope its not my fault if your motor blows up on me.

I've been a 240 owner for 7 years and have had 4 240's. Believe me, the availability of KA's has DRASTICALLY decreased over the last 7 years. I know when I did my first KA-T project 5 years ago, it was still pretty unheard of. These were the days when nobody knew about hacked s14 MAFs, n60 mafs, and ebay turbo kits didn't exist, haha. I don't think there was a KA-T forum on NICO(I think it was still 240sx.org back then), and there wasn't a KA-T.org. The market for KA's has BOOMED in the last 4 years, and I agree with WD...It has become nearly impossible to find a KA block locally these days. I live in Nebraska, and I used to be able to find a KA block around here or in Omaha pretty easily, now there are 0 blocks within a 200 mile radius of me on car-part.com. It's becoming a little scary honestly.....I actually donated a KA block to my high school auto class when I was still going there, and I think I'm gonna have to steal it back now, haha. I don't want that block to go to waste.

I could never find a KA in the junkyards around here until today. I found a Pick-a-part with 3 complete DE's and a complete E. The prices you ask, $190 for complete motor with transmission. I am so damn happy. Completely off topic but I had to share that info with someone. Sucks about the motor Sunny, but it seems like you'll have it back on the road in no time.

Dropped the spare block off at the machine shop to be bored .020 over, micropolish the crank and new bearings installed. Ready to go are some 9:1 Supertech pistons and new Cometic MLS headgasket (thanks Ryan). Steven (Craving4boost) came up from SD and dropped me off his spare transmission, so no more 3rd gear grinds!

Should be done soon enough. I might get getting a new Walbro pump though. This pump has over 60k miles and has been in 3 different setups. Just gettin a new one to be safe.

Got the wheels repolished and faces repainted a gray gunmetal flake color. Looks great I might say. Ill post pics when I get back to my parents house.
