haha sorry, as of right now it's just waiting again- AMS shipping depot send out a bunch of packages with two of the same side testpipes, so I'm waiting to get the right side then it will get tuned. I have the harness all laid out I'm just working on de-looming and tucking the harness and getting rid of all the wires/connectors I don't need. The bulkhead is in and all connected, I'm just waiting to do the final AN fittings on the fuel rails because I want to make sure that both pumps are getting fuel at a low tank level before I finalize it. I also decided that I'm going to keep the IC piping aluminum just to break things up a little bit. I'll put some pics up by friday, I should be done the harness and all by then. :) All that's really left other than that is bleeding the brakes and possibly a new clutch slave cylinder, it seems seized :x

:dblthumb: on the silver IC piping Gino, I agree it breaks things up nicely and works with the aluminum radiator as well.

Can't wait until your latest shipping fubar clears up, been checking daily...

lol yea I'll be making rad brackets for it. My buddy that did the IC piping just ziptied it back to keep it from flopping around so he knew how much clearance he had. I will be making them this week.

and also I did decide to use the nylon lines for the coolant also, i will be using the heat wrap that was on the original EFI harness to wrap around the lines right by the turbo exhaust housings. That should keep them happy :) probably even cooler than the stock hard lines that ran there.

I drilled/tapped and used a 90 degree fitting to put my MAP sensor on the DS EGR delete plate. Everything is just about ready, just need to finish wiring the AEM widebands in to the Haltech, then finish tightening fuel fittings (want to make sure both pumps pick up fuel at low tank levels before hooking it all up). Tomorrow it should all be buttoned up, and wednesday it will be tuned! :) FINALLY!!

Ok guys, so here's the run down. For the past 2 weeks I've been trying to get tuned and it kept getting pushed off...SO...I contacted a local guy that is a very good tuner and and he will be coming to my place thursday to toss together a base tune and some street tuning, then we will be scheduling some dyno time to get numbers and final tweaks, and make a race gas map. SO...expect vids thursday! :) I'll put some pics up tomorrow. Since we'll be doing this on the street instead of the dyno I need to string up an alignment lol so I'll put some pics up tomorrow with the bumper back on and everything. :) FINALLY!

here's a pic to hold you over:

3" from outer lip to wheel arch, tire is tucked! Will look a lot better once the toe is corrected tomorrow and a little less camber, and once I know I don't need to keep jacking the car up and down the front will be lowered to match!

and the final of the engine bay:

Well guys, got the tune done today (little street tune just for drive ability so I can put a few miles on and make sure everything is solid before we strap it down and lay into it hard- Ran into a few issues haha. The guy built the tune before even seeing the car based on what I told him about it, then just modified it in real time. Fired right up first time...then I noticed the oil pressure. The DS oil feed line was not tightened properly. Anyone who has SS lines make sure you check this- the clocking of the banjo nut made it seem that the AN fitting was tight, when it was not. It was applying pressure down while the block was applying pressure up- so it felt tight, but oil was just spewing out the back of the fitting. Got that buttoned up and VIOLA. Then it was time for the street test. We drove it about 2 miles and about 10 minutes, checking light load and high rpm settings, everything was driving great. Then about a half mile from my house the car turns off. Nothing had power and some smoke from under the hood. The secondary power wire that I ran from the battery to the fuse block came loose from where I had it hanging (zip tied up), and melted itself to the downpipe. So a call to my dad and 20 minutes later we're back home. So now I get to re-route the wire where it won't melt to the exhaust lol and cross my fingers that nothing more than the fuse got f***. But I can say, it was awesome driving it again after a year and a half. The car sounds completely insane and just down right raw driving. Very loud (open 3" test pipes), but very sick. I have a vid of the start up after I fixed the oil leak, but no vids from the drive..once I fix the battery wire issue I'll put some miles on it and get it on the dyno in a week (going on vacation next week).

:) I might have enough time to fix the battery wire tomorrow before work, so maybe ill get some more vids

sick bro, f*cking close call on that power line though... that s*** could have ended very badly :\

Anyways, get that baby broken in and then post up some results ;D (I did the 60-120mph run btw... almost 6 seconds flat).

I'm putting some new videos from today up now. I fixed the power wire, nothing was fried haha- but now one of my bulkhead fittings decided to come loose and start leaking (which it wasn't doing yesterday)so I'm only getting 20psi of fuel pressure, which is why it kept dying and would die when driving and getting on the clutch.

videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAlM-7lZ0A0

:) once I fix the fuel leaking from the bulkhead fittings it hopefully won't want to die so easy. The steering is going to take some getting used to lol but I like it, it's not bad. It just doesn't return straight like a power rack does if you let go halfway through a turn haha.

Should be getting tuned in a week when me and the lady get back from the beach, so there will be numbers and more vids posted then

Dude congrats on finally getting this bastard running, cant wait to see vids of it decimating exotics. Now that the weather is calming down here in Houston I might be able to actually spend a little time in the garage, cant wait to get my damn car running again.
