Ok we've all seen the ghetto go-fast garbage at autozone. And some of us, including me, have added it before. But the Tornado thing improved my throttle response. With a custom intake tube sometimes certain cars will have a dead spot in the throttle, where you rapidly depress the accelerator and theres a pause before the engine revs up. Adding one of those things eliminated the dead spot and that gay hissing sound.I just filled my tank and will be counting the miles and seeing if the thing does anything for my mpg.

If you want to go fast, you have to spend the money.

Not the electric turbo thing....Maybe it's the fact it's restricting airflow that the engine doesn't suddenly choke on the huge amount of oxygen allowed in at one time.

I didn't pay for it, buddy of mine said "we had an open box, you want it?"

figured give it a shot and if no dice give it to someone else to mess with.

Friend of mine got one free too. He said it gave him a lil throttle response and MPG but not enough for the $60. I say since you got it free it's all good. But I would never recommend someone actually go out and buy one.

I never said anything about an electric turbo thing. I dont know where you got that from...

I just think its commercialistic crap. Im glad you got it for free, but you gotta think, if it didnt come stock in all cars, why isnt it there to help everyone now?

On paper it looks good to use it because of the air density slightly increasing when you "spin" the air going into a motor. But if you look at the design of the intake piping and the intake manifold, the design falls flat on its face.

I still believe that you are imagining it because once, I could have sworn that changing to 5W-30 motor oil for me gave me more off-the-line. But it didnt. It was my imagination becuase my car really needed an oil change.

Also I would like to add my friend used it on his Camaro z28, not a 240.

Did you do that on a dyno or was that something you downloaded? It is obviously false and you dont really understand.

You can rice on as much as you like, but I refuse to buy in to your fantasy. No 1 miracle bolt-on is going to net you 60HP gain no matter what with a 2.4L I-4 motor.

I will not let you pollute the minds of this forum with this garbage.

You should note one thing:NICO BANNED TURBONATOR FROM ADVERTISING HERE.

That was done for a reason and this really isnt helping. I am not a person that likes to shoot people down like this, but this time it is nessesary.

Turbos are bolt-ons...Superchargers are bolt-ons...A new motor is a bolt-on(or -in)...

And yes with the swirling effect of the air in the intake tube theorectically yes it does fall flat on its face, esoecially when it hits the butterfly of the throttle body.

2BN_S13, you DO realize he's not even talking about the turbinator, hes talking about the TORNADO.

60 hp heh?

that is assuming 100% efficient turbocharger, which is against the law of physics, is a turbo that is running at 1.38 bar.

OMG, this little device is a miracle, it creates forced induction. 5.586 psi to be exact. WOW!! and it costs $75.

well, then all the people that turbocharge or supercharge, should simply dump thier kompressors, and buy this product.=========================================

i wonder what two turbonators will do to your engine running in parrallel.

My friend's uncle owns a shop that peddles those "tornados". He gave me one for free, I tried it out on my Accord and 240sx. NO DIFFERENCE!! If anything it ADDED an annoying hissing noise.

THEY DON'T WORK.

Sorry for all the CAPS.
