True. But the agencies in your list (as well as the USPS) aren't "for profit" or aren't publicly-traded companies.

You quoted "examples of other "state-subsidized" businesses in the U.S." I was just providing other examples as well. And actually, the first two were at the fore front of the Sub Prime Lending Scandal. It should be pointed out that FHLB was NOT.
