Jacko... they last 30 to 50K miles. read the review on tirerack... millions of miles have been reported.

I understand you spent a ton of $$ on your tires and you feel the need to justify the purchase but just let it go..
Low Blow lol..

But really Jacko I must side with Kenrik on this one...

I had thes on my lexus for about 35k miles and they still looked great! I would say that i could have gotten 50-55k out of the set if I hadn't have sold the car!

I also did a lot of drifting in that little lexus and they never let me down!

They also put on a really good smoke show when you are showing off to the SRT4 Neon guys..

I told them that if they had a real car (It would have been made with RWD) and that they could drift and do dounuts. I also was like well that is a waste of power if you can only go fast in a str8 line ... THen I pop the question... How do you guys show off with that car... Oh wait you can't cuz the badge still says NEON!

I'll need a tire that I won't die with when it snows.

Then you definitely don't want these. These tires meet the minimum of M+S. With most cars, you don't want a tire that has a M+S rating in the winter, you want an actual winter tire.

Summer tires are made for the summer, winter tires are made for the winter and all season are spread thin trying to do both. They do pretty well in the summer but are hardly any better in the snow then summers. It is well worth having both sets if you are going to see a good amount of snow...

I decided to give these a try. I just ordered a set from tirerack.com. Not bad $480 shipped. My winter tires are gonna be like $900 tho

I just need to buy cheap track rims And throw something sticky on them.

Something like what gwoods did. But maybe not Mustang rims....Man I think I'd get shot at the track if I went with mustang rims. I goto a track in MD and It's like 80% mustangs and cobras.... And they all talk country.

They don't have to be Mustang rims but keep in mind the Stang has the same bolt pattern and the same front suspension issues to deal with. So if you see someone selling some nice rims off their Mustang they will work on your G.

besides you can talk crap about your Mustang rims. My favorate is "the last Mustang I raced bet me his rims, let me look over your car too see if you have anything I want"

I just put on these tires last night and as some of you may know we had a pretty big storm in Chi-Town which I had to drive through and I can tell that these tires are awesome in rain

But other than that my first impression is good. The road noise is much much much better than michelin pilot sport, they seem pretty responsive (still letting tires set in) and they are cheap. I'll report more after I've had some time to test them

I wonder How pissed off people would be if I showed up to the track with some used cobra R rims.

Yes. I know. I can probably get away with only getting 2 rims. Just to goto the drag strip.
