unfortunately no.last time i talked to greg (last week round tues) he said that the collars were still at the machine shop being finished up.im sure that this is irritating to you guys as it is me as im also paying him to ship some bearings over for me so i can rebuild my motor and the longer these collars take the longer my motor sits in pieces.im going to send him an email today to see whats up, as this is a bit rediculous at this point.sorry that its taken so long and hopefuly i will have good news for you guys this evening.

small update on the collars guys heres the email i sent greg:

hi there greg.was wondering what the current status was on the crank collars as lots of ppl here stateside are wondering where they are.ive got the money for them, just need to know if they are done and ready to go, but i'll need the ok from your end.thanks.carl

and his response:

Carl,

Sorry mate,

I have 7 collars here and I'm waiting on the rest before I can send them and the shop that does our CNC stuff is holding me off as they have some large run going through their lathe and it's taking longer than they planned. I know how annoying it is when you are waiting and I know it puts you in a difficult situation as you are holding the money.

Feel free to forward this message on to the people that are waiting with my apologies. I should have them here early next week and I'll send them off as soon as they arrive.

Cheers,

Greg.

Some1 should make a little 'blueprint' desgin of the collars for others that want to get one made or for future group runs, since there were some of us that didn't have enough cash to make this run.

actualy funny you should ask...just got this in the good old pm box today:Carl,

I'll be picking up 10 tomorrow, The second shop hasn't delivered yet but the first one rang me today to say they just needed to mill the flats and they would be ready so I'll go over in the morning and pick them up.

I should be able to get them on freight by Wednesday, I picked up the grub screws today and have the instructions printed sitting in the boxes ready to drop a collar in with them.

Sooo... all going well you should have them soon. Any dramas and I'll let you know.

Cheers,Greg.

so with anyluck we will have the collars midnext week which is EXCELENT for everyone that has been so patiently waiting (and i do appreciate you guys working with me on this one) as i know you want to fix your motors and i want to put mine back together...will post when i hear from him and have sent payment for the collars.

Alright Carl, we're at the two month mark. Do we have any tracking numbers, a set deadline, or a plan of action to speed this along? Burning up this awesome spring weather waiting on parts sucks.

yeah i fully understand man as im in the same boat as you guys.im not sure what the problem is really, greg SAYS that he has the parts out and should be on the way to me right now but im not too sure about that as i still havent sent him the money.i'll try to get a definitive date for the shipment as 2 months when it should have been a 2 week lead time is rediculous.worst case scenario i'll refund everyone's money, but that would be a real letdown on everyones part because for most of us it is a nessicitated part...i will try to avoid having to do that tho so everyone gets a collar as intended.i'll email greg right now and if i have to i'll call him if the shop is open and hopefuly get some answers.

sean - you will most likely need a crank collar for a s1 rb25 motor, the r33 gtr motors have a longer crank drive already therefor do not need a crank collar.

If these don't come through, where is the next best place to get the collar? JUN? Anybody have a link to their parts site or would I have to call and make a special order. Thanks in advance.
