If those sensor's aren't reading a cat for each downpipe you'll have that lovely CEL. You'd need high-flow cats.nurseryboy wrote:Ok, so I just stopped by a local shop and asked them if they'd be able to fab up some testpipes. They said sure, but they'd really recommend me having a high-flow cat somewhere (for inspections), and suggested they maybe put it on the Racingline Y-Pipe. Do you guys see any potential issues with this? The thought would be then to have straight testpipes from the headers to the Y-Pipe, and then a high-flow cat somewhere along it and down to the Nismo cat-back. Thoughts?
I just created a new thread so I didn't end up hijacking this one - http://forums.altimas.org/zero...d=244

unless you moved both sensors to the new high flow catDexion wrote:If those sensor's aren't reading a cat for each downpipe you'll have that lovely CEL. You'd need high-flow cats.
I know man. So far I've talked to one local place and they said they'd be able to do make them for around $300 installed. I'm going to be talking to the mechanic I normally go to and see if he could do them and how much it would cost. I really want these!Dexion wrote:Damnit! I wonder if a muffler shop can just make HFC's in that case.
