No need to be cross. An engine bay, is an engine bay. This is why motor swaps and things of this nature can be crossed. Of course a few minors components might have changed. However, I have looked over the VQ35DE in the 2008 Sedan. I didn't see one difference between it, and my engine. I'm pretty positive this is going to work on both cars. However, if someone wants to pony up and drop 5k for the system for the sedan. They are more than welcome to hit Tim up

You have the VQ35DE rev-up motor in your 07-08 Altima. No big deal.We have been turbochargng and tuning rev-up motors since they came out.We have the EMS handled and that is what is one of the most important aspects of forced induction

Kevin,

We turbocharged our first QR motor in 2003 so we are very familiar with that engine. We actually have sold about 50-60 kits for the Spec-V's that was private labeled through another company that has since closed up shop. But we still have all the jigs for the headers,downpipe,etc...so we would just have to redo the intercooler piping to work on the coupe.

Haha, well, anythings possible. However, there wont be a twin turbo on my car. We're just trying to see if the CVT can hold up to 6 psi of daily driving first

fair enough.....

I knew you would like that but, really two small turbos, help reduce that turbo lag......

There will only be lag at the very start with the CVT. Turbos air charge is a derivative of the RPM/throttle. If the rpm is at 6k constantly, with your foot to the floor, you wont have any lag

Yeah this is very true.... I forgot the CVT keeps you at 5k when flooring it.

for high performance CVT looks like it will have an edge I guess, but we get the blowoff valve shifting noise, and manly wheel spin shift action

I could not agree more...... and frankly its more fun to drive manual. Hey mcheddadi, are there any short shifters for our coupes?

Which will both be negatives in a real race

If we drive in manual mode and let off the gas before every shift we would get the blow off valve sound. But why would anyone do that in a real race right.

no, but you should try a heavier knob and MTF change for now, works wonders

y not do dual injectors like bisi ezerioha(engineering guru working on hondas) or formula one, one set for low rpm(you can tune it to high mpg) then the other set for high rpm output

thats if you guys want decent mpg with a bang and blow off

We will be getting decent MPG anyways. When your on it of course it will suck down more gas. However, crusing, you will see an increase of 3-4 mpg
