They need to realize that this exhaust is a very high quality hand made exhaust using high quality materials with very beautiful welds.Boilermaker318 wrote:Gaining interest shouldn't be an issue. Gauging Interest is what is most important at this time because as Loop said there are many reasons why their setup for the g35, g37, and 350z cost so much. All three of those cars have true dual catback exhaust. That means that from their stock catalytic converters back, there are two different pipes all the way back to the mufflers. That is nearly twice the amout of material that it takes to make ours, being that our mufflers form into one pipe all of the way up to the cat and the cat is only one pipe as well. This is a lot more material being used than on our car. This comparison does not even include their custom x-pipe setup which is even more metal. Their high flow cats and test pipes are also two completely different pipes as well, as opposed to the single pipe that we would utilize. On top of that, if you look on the g and z forums, you will see that Fast Intentions has given group buys on their cat backs that have taken 300 dollars off of all of their catbacks. If we show serious interest and get these exhaust into production we should be able to get an introduction group buy as well.Boilermaker318 wrote:Gaining interest shouldn't be an issue. Its a beast dudes, all their setups are.hamandbacon wrote:Damn I want that carbon fiber with titanium tip. Hoe is clean
It was the best decision of your lifeBeatrice wrote:i knew there was a reason i waited on getting an exhaust
I am sure that you will find this exhaust to be far more than special. I have the Stillen cat back now as well, and there is no doubt that I will be switching to the Fast Intentions exhaust if we can get it into production. It will give you plenty of special reasons.windex wrote:Shame I already have an exhaust... I'd have to hear something special in order for me to switch...
High flow cats on there would be a beast. The actual design of the catback exhaust itself would not change because of the test pipes, but the test pipes of course would be designed so that they fit perfectly and amount to the best horsepower gains as possible. I hope I answered that questions, if I didnt, please feel free to ask me again.rich2342 wrote:definately interested in the Y-pipe and possibly test pipes. any sketches?
Test pipes or resonated test pipes is basically no pre-cats for our system. If you still want your cats on your car, then you will want hi-flow cats. I posted a picture of what the g37 hi-flow cats look like. These upgrades tend to get nice hp/tq gains.rich2342 wrote:definately interested in the Y-pipe and possibly test pipes. +1, especially paired with a catback exhaust, and with the amount of Research and Development that Fast Intentions does on all of their work, you can be sure to obtain maximum performance in that aspect of tuning.Loop wrote:

First and foremost I hope that things start looking better for you soon, thats what is important. Now, if you do have the funds for the Greddy exhaust, then you should have the funds for the Fast Intentions. The Greddy exhaust cost 995.00 on their site. When things start looking better for you (which they will), and you have the money, get the Fast Intentions and you would be spending that hard earned money much more effieciently. I hope things work out for you in short time.RobPaulson wrote:i've had my heart set on greddy since day one ... but ...

however if your looking for an realistic buy interest, you wont get mine, just no funds for this and its not looking to hot for the near future, this would be like 1year+ from now if at all
Yes, you are very right, the high flow cats, and the test pipes would both be one pipe. They would be designed with the same purpose, its just that in our cars we have one pipe for our stock catalytic converters, as oppose to the picture that Loop posted of the high flow cats for the g37, which has two different pipes, because the g37 has two different pipes for catalytic converters, coming from the factory. Same common goal is pursued. So when aftermarket test pipes, or high flow cats are produced by aftetrmarket manufacturers, they replicate the same structure of the stock cats, but do it in a way where the most air flow and lack of back pressure is obtained. So in our case, since we have one pipe for catalytic converteters, as opposed to two, coming from the factory, aftermarket suppliers would replicate that one pipe structure, but do it in the most unrestricted way, gaining maximum torque and horsepower gains. In order for the best performance to be gained out of these exhaust components, profuse amounts of Research and Development must be done, and that is exactly what Fast Intentions is known for. I hope that helps, if not feel free to ask me again Same common goal is pursued.rich2342 wrote:im at a loss how the hfc's or would fit? wouldn't it just be a single?
That would be great dude, and as long as you can get enough serious interest from the sedan guys, they hopefully would be able to work something up. You should contact Tony at Fast Intentions asap, he is a great guy, and will try his best to help you out. Showing him the interest asap would be great.Jose3.5 wrote:Loop, are they located in Northridge? If they need a sedan I would be willing to let them have for a while to work on it.
Hi-Flow cats or test pipes are after the headers and before the y-pipe for our cars. They replace the pre-cats on each side. You will have two pipes in total, one on each side after the headers. Which then goes into a y-pipe, 2 flanges into 1.rich2342 wrote:im at a loss how the hfc's or would fit? wouldn't it just be a single?
Email is not the best option as they get hundreds of emails easily. Your best bet is to call Tony.Jose3.5 wrote:Do you have his email?THis would only be for 3.5L, right?
I know they had a Altima sedan in there shop a month ago. Not sure what happened.Jose3.5 wrote:Loop, are they located in Northridge? If they need a sedan I would be willing to let them have for a while to work on it.
