Hi everyone,

Fast Intentions may expand into the Altima Coupe market and that we help test waters to see if there's interest in this product. Products can be a cat-back exhaust, hi-flow cats, test pipes, and y-pipe.

For those who don't know Fast Intentions, they specialize in Nissan G and Z exhaust components and are popular in those community and many others. They are known to make power with a very nice sound to it. They are a great company, with awesome customer service!

Here are the different versions of their g37 exhaust:

Polished stainless steel 300 cell Metallic H.F.C's:

If you guys are interested. Post which exhaust component you are interested in.

Thanks!

Fast Intentions is a reputable company, famous for their outstanding quality, and their excellent customer service. The owner Tony is a great guy, whole heartedly looking to satisfy the needs and wants of the owners of the specific vehicle. Fast Intentions is famous in the G's and 350z's world. -They make big TRUE power gains from all of their exhaust components. They do extensive research and development, for best possible routing of the exhaust, dyno runs, and perfect welds. -You can ask anyone who has ever owned or seen one of their exhaust. Their performance is tried and proven

-The quality of the Fast Intentions exhaust is again outstanding. Their welds are perfect, and their fitment is perfect.

-Customer service is outstanding

-Looks wise, the as you can see in Loops pictures, the exhaust would be the most aggressive looking exhaust that is out for our cars, but at the same time is no where near rice, keeping the class of our coupes. As we all know, the rear of our car is sexy, and the muffler style, and routing, aloing with 4.5 inch tips would complement our rears very well. It would look sick coming out of the stock or aftermarket (ED) rear diffuser.

These are some pictures of the Fast Intentions set up on the g37

These are some pictures of the Fast Intentions set up on a g35

These are the optional tips4.5, and 4 inch, if they both are offered

-Sound wise, it is incredible, no video, or explanation will ever do it justice, you just have to hear it in person.

Here are some videos of the Fast Intentions set up on the g37

This is one of the sickest exhaust out period, we need to get as many as these on our Altima coupes as possible. If we can get these in production, that would be sick.

I have no ties to Fast Intentions, I just appreciate great quality and customer service, and love the Altima coupe, and want to see it modded the right way.

P.S. - For anyone who is wondering, the majority of the 350z's that are apart of my car club have the Fast Intentions set up, and I helped install many of them, so I know first hand.

If anyone has any questions at all just email me and I will give you any information that I have about them from personal experience. Lets get this exhaust into production

Gaining interest shouldn't be an issue. Getting people to commit to buying it is another. Looking at the prices I see on the site it could be the most expensive exhaust for the coupe.

The great things about Fast Intentions exhaust, you are able to custom the exhaust to your likings. This will truly make your exhaust unique and stand out from the crowd.

Note: I put them in order from left being the cheapest and right being the most. Example: Aluminum is cheaper than a Stainless steel exhaust. Another example: Stainless Steel non-round muffler is cheaper than a Carbon Fiber round muffler.

Piping material: Aluminized, Stainless Steel, Polished Stainless Steel.

Mufflers: Stainless Steel non-round, Stainless Steel Round, and Carbon Fiber Round

Tips: 4 inch Stainless Steel tip, 4.5 inch Stainless Steel tip, and 4inch Titanium tip

Carbon Fiber Round muffler w/ Titanium Tip:

Also possibilities they will make test pipes, resonated test pipes, and hi-flow cats.

They need to realize that this exhaust is a very high quality hand made exhaust using high quality materials with very beautiful welds.

From FI: We weld all of our flanges on the inside then sand them down, port and polish the inside finished off by being belt sanded for a machined flat surface to ensure a perfect fit up with no leaks. After that we stitch weld the outside for added strength. Our current competitor welds around the outside and calls it a day. This leaves a lip on the inside which causes turbulence and will decrease power.

The price will be cheaper than the Z or G's because there is a true dual or x-pipe setup. Thus its using much more material. If this does happen, I will be trying to get Fast Intentions to set up a group buy here. This will help reduce cost even more!!

They have affordable layaway plans

The carbon fiber muffler is really light, like a few pounds when I tested it out.

Gauging Interest is what is most important at this time because as Loop said there are many reasons why their setup for the g35, g37, and 350z cost so much. All three of those cars have true dual catback exhaust. That means that from their stock catalytic converters back, there are two different pipes all the way back to the mufflers. That is nearly twice the amout of material that it takes to make ours, being that our mufflers form into one pipe all of the way up to the cat and the cat is only one pipe as well. This is a lot more material being used than on our car. This comparison does not even include their custom x-pipe setup which is even more metal. Their high flow cats and test pipes are also two completely different pipes as well, as opposed to the single pipe that we would utilize. On top of that, if you look on the g and z forums, you will see that Fast Intentions has given group buys on their cat backs that have taken 300 dollars off of all of their catbacks. If we show serious interest and get these exhaust into production we should be able to get an introduction group buy as well.

Just to give you another example, all of the current exhaust for the g's and z's that are also made for our cars, cost much more for the g's and z's. For example, the Stillen exhaust cost 816.90 at MSRP for our Altima coupe's but for the g37 it cost 1,407.59. Again, this price difference is because of the amount of material it takes to make exhaust system for the g's and the z's. as opposed to the amount of material it takes to make ours. So in making this comparison, the price would not be that much more than the other set ups for our cars, but be miles above them in the quality and all other aspects that they present.

And as Loop already stated they have affordable layaway plans that are very helpful because you dont have to shell the total cost out at once, like with most other companies. -Another testament to their excellent comfortable service

I am sure that you will find this exhaust to be far more than special. I have the Stillen cat back now as well, and there is no doubt that I will be switching to the Fast Intentions exhaust if we can get it into production. It will give you plenty of special reasons.

High flow cats on there would be a beast. The actual design of the catback exhaust itself would not change because of the test pipes, but the test pipes of course would be designed so that they fit perfectly and amount to the best horsepower gains as possible. I hope I answered that questions, if I didnt, please feel free to ask me again.

Would the y-pipe delete the 3rd cat similar to what Cattman and Racingline's Y-pipes do?

where in the exhaust would the test pipes be added?

Test pipes or resonated test pipes is basically no pre-cats for our system. If you still want your cats on your car, then you will want hi-flow cats. I posted a picture of what the g37 hi-flow cats look like. These upgrades tend to get nice hp/tq gains.

Here is our 2008 v6 setup: Exhaust manifold each side -> pre-cat on each side -> y-pipe with cat -> single non-resonated mid pipe -> one big muffler(axle-back) with 2 tips.

Note: every -> has a flange.

+1, especially paired with a catback exhaust, and with the amount of Research and Development that Fast Intentions does on all of their work, you can be sure to obtain maximum performance in that aspect of tuning.

First and foremost I hope that things start looking better for you soon, thats what is important. Now, if you do have the funds for the Greddy exhaust, then you should have the funds for the Fast Intentions. The Greddy exhaust cost 995.00 on their site. When things start looking better for you (which they will), and you have the money, get the Fast Intentions and you would be spending that hard earned money much more effieciently. I hope things work out for you in short time.

Yes, you are very right, the high flow cats, and the test pipes would both be one pipe. They would be designed with the same purpose, its just that in our cars we have one pipe for our stock catalytic converters, as oppose to the picture that Loop posted of the high flow cats for the g37, which has two different pipes, because the g37 has two different pipes for catalytic converters, coming from the factory. Same common goal is pursued. So when aftermarket test pipes, or high flow cats are produced by aftetrmarket manufacturers, they replicate the same structure of the stock cats, but do it in a way where the most air flow and lack of back pressure is obtained. So in our case, since we have one pipe for catalytic converteters, as opposed to two, coming from the factory, aftermarket suppliers would replicate that one pipe structure, but do it in the most unrestricted way, gaining maximum torque and horsepower gains. In order for the best performance to be gained out of these exhaust components, profuse amounts of Research and Development must be done, and that is exactly what Fast Intentions is known for. I hope that helps, if not feel free to ask me again Same common goal is pursued.

That would be great dude, and as long as you can get enough serious interest from the sedan guys, they hopefully would be able to work something up. You should contact Tony at Fast Intentions asap, he is a great guy, and will try his best to help you out. Showing him the interest asap would be great.

Hi-Flow cats or test pipes are after the headers and before the y-pipe for our cars. They replace the pre-cats on each side. You will have two pipes in total, one on each side after the headers. Which then goes into a y-pipe, 2 flanges into 1.
Jose3.5 wrote:Do you have his email?THis would only be for 3.5L, right?
Email is not the best option as they get hundreds of emails easily. Your best bet is to call Tony.
