i want to choose and engine so is fuel economy good, does it vary by s13, 14, or 15, please give me more information

If fuel economy is what your after,an SR is not the motor for you.....

Boost is evil to your mpg. I think my redtop gets about 26 on the hwy but it is so damn hard to stay out of the boost for a full tank so it is hard for me to say. City is probably about 8mpg.

I get around ~300 miles/tank, mostly highway but still plenty of city. Both on/off boost. turbo at 14.5psi, S13 blacktop SR

i got over 400 miles on the highway on my last tank... holy crap! haha. how big is the tank on a s14 zenki? i think it is like 31mpg on the highway and like 15mpg in town =( too much boost for gas milage in town.

OK I know that is is the sr forum but my RB25 gets 27 MPG hwy and like 21 city 7 psi.

standard bolt-ons/ 22-26mpg/ S13 blacktop

Ive got all the standard bolt ons and @13PSI. I average after every tank about 22mpg. I did however after a mostly highway trip get 26mpg. I dont drive like I stole my car but I am on occasion boost happy. But yea boost kills mpg.
