aahh i see marshall has done his research bout the specv HP... but one thing u 4got is that i plan to do high compression + a 80 shot.. high compression (maybe 9:5:1 or more, havent really looked into it yet) allone puts me @ about 210ish... o0o and w/ the clutch + FW i did this past summer, i will reach that.. now u said the 80 shot is about 70hp so if my math is right, i should be @ about 280hp.. and whp should be damn near close to that.. maybe 250ish... again, i need to do alot of research to find out which parts work best w/ other parts to give me a safe, fun, and fast lil spec..BlackZenki82 wrote:

sooo, the factory HP rating is 175 on a spec V (165 on a regular SER), an 80 shot doesn't mean 80hp, so figure roughly 70hp (est.), from that, then ya got what? cold air intake? +5hp, exhaust? +5hp .... comes out to somewhere in the ball park of 250-260hp
factor in the 15% drive train loss, possible low comp, ill maintainance, rev limiter bouncing "street racing", and you be somewhere between 210-220WHP...
my car made 260WHP at 7psi with a exhaust leak at the mani/turbo flange the size of a quarter, so i was leaking 12 kinds of pressures before it even had a chance to get to the turbo...
i'm now currently at a DD'able 10psi on "Lo" and 14.7 on "Hi" on the GReddy Profec B2.. so my DD estimated whp is somewhere around 280-5WHP and my "Hi" is probably in the ball park of 320ish but more likely more... but low, i'm not tuned for 14.7 so i don't run it very often... i hit a good 11.7AFR @ 10lbs, so it's nice and safe, and quick enough to f*** around with the average honda...
