I called you and that other guy on sfldrifters a crybaby for complaining about the less than ideal track conditions so you come take it out on me here. No one cares. Apparently Lucas and Billy and them had no problem. Youre the one coming up with excuses.

oh, and dont act like youre the s*** because you were "competing" against "pro drivers." Most of them were just people like you. Jason didnt compete. Bill didnt compete. A few people were more, top notch. But you werent competing against tanner faust or rhys millen or something.

kelsey, i "called you out" cause all you ever talk about is how you're a drifter... then i see you on the track and you're nothing like what you portray yourself to be at all the little ricer hard parking meets in town... hell i never even called myself a "drifter" till i linked the 8 the last time at Desoto... trust me when i say, that what i'm saying now is what EVERYONE says when they're not swinging on your proverbial nuts because you're a female...

and i not only blamed my driving on the track (hell, EVERYONE was spinning out), but on my own lack of ability, the fact that i choked cause i was trying TOO hard, and my own frustrations, all of which were getting in the way of me driving to my full potentail, as limited as that may be... not once did i blame it on the car, or anything else besides myself.

after the comp was over, i hit it one more time and killed it (as far as i can say "killing it" with my abilities or lack thereof, probably because i didn't have any pressure on me, and a little bit cause i had a ride along that was egging me on.

i'm not all out trying to attack you, but like the last time i kinda went off on you, i can only hear so much of "drift, 240, drift, my last drift event" etc etc etc before it gets too much... if you weren't a female, you'd have no where near the attention you get now, hell after your performance last night, one might say that up till this point you're a poser.

and the KA exuse? once again, yet another Kelsey excuse of why you're not as awesome as you imply yourself to be... take a look at alex, and what he can do when he had his pretty much stock hatch on the track, sonofb**** pretty much killed it every time, and his KA was high mileage, bone stock, and wore out, and a transmission that you had to bench press into gear cause all the syncros are shot out...

i will say, good for you, i, like most other people do respect the fact that you're getting out there, driving, learning, and i do respect the fact that you do drive, that you do get out there, it's a lot more that what other people do at those stupid meets... you're one of the few that can back up what you say, just not as much as what you'd have people believe...

if you were near as good as you let on to people, we wouldn't even be having this conversation... and once again, i want to reiterate, what i'm saying, is not just my opinion, you'd be surprised how many people say the same thing when you're not around...

I dont say anything of the sort of me being a good driver. I'm always saying that i suck and that I hit things. Obviously, since I totaled a car into the osw wall almost exactly a year ago. This was my first time drifting since then, in my new car. I'm by no means good, but I dont suck as bad as youre trying to say I do compared to you.

You however, go around saying you you "killed it" (nice save in your last post btw) and yet all the videos you post are cut up and spliced so you look better than you are. try posting some full runs without all the fancy hardparking between segments where you stand next to your car trying to look like a badass with your arms crossed as the camera moves by. i mean seriously? youre not some movie star. if you want people to see you drive, just post up your runs without all the gay editing. maybe add a good song to distract from your suckiness.

I was refering to it because you think youre so cool with your SR (thats why i said super awesome SR)in your fancy zenki with your fancy wheels and such. Note that i was refering to your amount of driving time and you said that you were driving like me at desoto because the track was so bad.. if the track was so bad, wouldnt i be having the same problems? so clearly, since you say you were sucking because of the track we cant judge how good or bad you were from last night... but you can judge how good or bad I am? and yet, you said it yourself that you were driving like me last night?

oh yea, and you brought up the whole number thing last time we got in an argument, and i said that the number wouldnt come off. Michael was THERE when I was at the car wash trying to wash it off and trying to scratch it off and it wouldnt come off. I hear a razor blade works, but i didnt have one. Its not like i drew the numbers on there myself and was like "omg yea, I drift. im soooo cool" when I dont. they really WERE from my last drift event. I just couldnt get them off. And michael can vouch on that. (not to mention all that was over a year ago)

i'm bored with it cause it's pretty much finished, and i don't look at it like other people do anymore... sometimes i have moments of "i love this car!!" and "damn, that's MY car!" but not so much anymore... i think i'm just itching to get started on the next project...

as far as me being "awesome" and the whole drift lifestyle, i don't rep it at all... i take my pics and show my vids, that's about as far as it goes... that and trying to figure out where the next event is...

I dunno about you, but generally at car meets you talk about cars and drifting. I dont talk about drifting to my other friends or other people. I never say how awesome i am. I just say i enjoy it. I share what I DO know, and I joke around and talk some s*** about hondas. I dont say, "omg I'm such a good drifter. I should be pro or something." no, I say i suck and that i crash, and then I throw in a joke about someone being a ricer of some sort. everyone does that. but i guess i talk about drifting too much at drift meets. Oh, and guys swarmed around me? those are my friends. I would swarm girls around me too if i could, but oh wait! there really arent many around the car scene is there? so am i just supposed to not talk to anyone? or talk to a bunch of guys?

Or would you rather me go to meets and talk about horses and how awesome of a horseback rider i am? i dont think people at car meets would really care about that. but since im only allowed to talk about subjects that im awesome in, maybe thats all i should talk about from now on?

240's/drifting : Serious business yo'.

If someone's super-duper serious about drifting, runs every event, works on going pro, spends all their money making their car 'race-spec', that's cool. It's what you're into.

If someone just likes 240's, buys some ebay parts, maybe goes to a few events just to screw around and have fun, realizes that having the most gangster car isn't their number 1 priority in life, that's cool to. Atleast they're into cars and stuff.

I don't see the need to have any kind of elitist mentality about the whole thing. Just because one person decides to make car modifying/professional driving a bigger priority in their lives doesn't make everyone who approaches the whole 'scene' more casually a scrub/poser/whateverthef***. If you're a serious driver, you already know who else is a serious driver and who else is just in it for fun. I don't understand the need to degrade less serious individuals.

Nobody should feel that they have anything to prove to anybody else. To me, as long as you're having fun doing whatever it is you're doing, it's all good.

Remember when you bought your first after market part for your car? Ebay steering wheel, shift knob, knock-off exhaust, whatever. Remember how cool it was? Remember how much fun it was, just messing around with your car, doing stupid stuff to it? I miss those days. Everything's so serious now. Now no matter what you've done with your car, it's never good enough. There's always going to be people on the internet who will rag on your s*** for w/e reason.

I wish cars were fun again.

Maybe I'll buy a VW, rust my hood and run 15x12-30 deep dish steelies. That seems like more fun to me than the current s-chasis scene hahaha.

If both of you are so concerned about who sucks and who doesn't, and who says this and does that, go into drag racing or road racing where there are actually numbers involved, then you have something to argue about. cars for me is fun. (begin summary) this whole thing started because I called some guy (chask491 or something) a crybaby on sfldrifters for complaining about track conditions. I said this:

"so the driving conditions weren't great. so what. its still practice. gotta learn how to drive in all kinds of conditions. Its not always going to be a perfect track. It was my first time drifting my zenki, but i feel like i did really well as far as getting used to the car and dealing with the track. Even though I know I sucked, I didnt let the fact that a puddle of water made me spin out get to me. I just tried to correct it next time.

Dont be a cry baby. Theres always another event."

and then some other guy (4wheeldrifts13) called marshall a crybaby and then marshall said:

"I'm not being a cry baby, i drove like s*** at the comp, and I've been getting really good at desoto, so it was pissing me off that i was driving like you..."

and directed it at me and basically started saying how much i suck. so yea, thats how all that got started and thats when he posted on here about it.

but yea, i went out there to have fun and to get back out there again. i expected to be the worst one out there (which, surprisingly, i definitely wasnt) which was part of the reason i didnt want to go. i didnt want everyone to see me sucking so bad, but i did it anyway cuz i miss it.
