Totally get the X! With that kind of power and torque, you want the X! I love ours, from time to time I will turn off the VDC and man that thing can really spin! It handles awesome in the snow and wet, there is a reason there is such a high inventory of the X model, because it is sooooo worth it!

Wonder if generally this is true based on design as far as being better in snow...

I remember taking on snow in my '79 Celica with G50 bias-ply tires. I never got stuck in that car.

Considering 2011 G37x coupe. My only concern is how it does in snow. I've been an Audi owner for 11 years and never had a problem. I live in CT and drove thru bad conditions today in my A4 with no issues. I really would like to avoid the hassle of changing to snow tires for the winter which some have suggested. I never had a need for them in the Audi. The decision I'm facing is do I buy the Audi A5 or the gorgeous G37x coupe. Appreciate any opinions. Either way it's a major investment for me and want to make the best choice.

Next time it's snowing, drive over to the Infiniti dealer and ask them to allow a test drive.
