G-35 Dealership Extended Warranty Cost- What Did You Pay?

One more aspect before I sign for the new G 35S is the extended warranty offered. What was the length of the warranty ove the 4/50,000 factory warranty and lastly is it really worth it ??

What did you all pay for it ? Is it the type that if you do not use it the money is refunded as with my Lexus?

For those that bought them please advise what the FI man wanted and what you finally got him down to.

I paid $500. you get 72 months from the day the car was purchased as new or 100,000 miles, which ever comes first.

Its worth it for peace of mind.

I was told over the phone that it was 500, but when I got there it was 1000. I have a feeling that was just their way of 'giving you a break'...

I don't believe you get the $ back.

I have the book about the warranty in front of me. If needed, I can scan and send to you, or post it.

Picked up the G 35S today and inquired about the extended warranty. Dealership said it was 2 grand. I showed them your email and they just shook their heads.

There is a link on the main page that links to nissan extended warranties. I've tried to use their site to get a quote but they don't list any 2008 Infiniti's other than the FX35, FX45 and QX56. They don't even list the G or the M. (It's the same link Greg quoted above)

Maybe the ad guy here at NICO can get them to fix their site so we can at least get a quote on a G there.

When I bought mine, the dealership quoted me $2100 for the warranty. I passed too

I paid $1950. It is a little cheaper if purchased prior to 50k miles. The Infiniti dealer is billing me monthly for one year with no finance charge. Because bulbs, relays and most other parts are so expensive, I decided to take it. If nothing goes wrong with my G until 100k miles I will have wasted 2 grand. I copied the items below. If someone has a better solution for posting all these items please let me know. I can fax you the entire document. BTW, I don't know why the scanned document came out the way it did but I did the best I could!
