I placed my 'official' order on May 3. All options for red G37S (auto), period, including 4WAS. Since my track time is minimal, I really don't need the car's rear to slip out. It'll be interesting to see if it can be disabled to some extent, though.

Infiniti of Kearny Mesa, by the way.

Anyone hear yet when we can pick up our cars from the May order?

Hey welcome to NICO! So far it seems as though the current date is August 21st (but it isn't official by Infiniti yet). I don't think Infiniti will be releasing really much of anything until around August 16th.

Seems there are several of us who ordered a G37 from Kearny Mesa Infinity. I too ordered mine in May.

I keep talking with the dealer and as of last week they are still expecting delivery between August 16 and 23.

I've heard that there's going to be some delay and many G37s scheduled for August will actually come in September (not sure when in September) because of the earthquake in Japan a while ago.

How come your car is coming in October? I've never heard of anything like that before.

Just ordered last week. It has a September build date, so I'm assuming an October delivery. Has something to do with the earthquake that slowed down orders.

I'm buying from a relative of mine who owns a dealership in TN, so I know I'm not getting the run-a-round.

Hi all, new to the forum...great resource! Here's what I have a deposit on for delivery in September:

G37 Sport 6MTPlatinum Graphite/StonePremium PkgNav PkgSpoiler (Dealer to Add)Wheel LocksSplash GuardsVarious Mats

Purchasing from Infiniti dealer in Euless, TX. Particularly interested in performance mods available (and installed) at this dealer. In talking with the Performance parts manager, expect high performance intake, hi-flow exhaust, and in 6 months a re-engineered Vortec supercharger for the 3.7

I just talked to my sales guy (David Schein, a nice guy and straightforward), and there's no firm date that he has for delivery yet. I think this is more a factor of the trickle-down of knowledge than anything else--the dealer's web site says the car will be on display 8/16 and on sale 8/23...I'm guessing that's their buffer to prep the cars assuming a late delivery.

Does anyone know which ports receive the San Diego-bound cars? I'd have to guess Los Angeles, which would mean the transit time once unloaded should only be a day.

My dealer ship is doing it in an odd way, I have a deposit down, but not an order.

I won't accept anything but:

Black or Dark GraySport AutoPremiumNavTechnologySpoiler

I'm indifferent on the 4WS, depends how fast I'll be able to get it. I'd prefer to not have it.

Gave dealer deposit last Saturday. Price will be MSRP plus $169 documentation fee.

Salesman is now looking for a car to match my specifications:6MT SportPremium packageNavigation packageBlue Slate, Athens Blue or Platinum Graphite exteriorStone interior

To make the search easier, I told the salesman I would consider other color combinations as well as the rear spoiler and (reluctantly) the technology package.

The only things I absolutely do not want are automatic transmission and 4WAS.

I've heard that Canada has received it before the United States. I wonder why? I would think that the U.S. is more important in terms of market and sales. Congrats on your car though! I'm looking forward to getting mine.

6MT, Liquid Platinum, Graphite InteriorPremiumNavSpoilerMisc. (cargo net, splash guards, mats...)

should arrive 8/31.

have really had a hard time deciding between silver (liquid platinum) and blue slate. Blue slate would add 2+ months to leadtime.

Looking to get spare 18" rims for winter/racing - anyone know if 03-06 stock rims would fit? tirerack.com and dealer say they don't know yet!

Any other details on the performance mods? who is going to offer them?

Hey G35autocrosser. I think liquid platinum is a great color and so is blue slate. Make sure that you get the color that you DO want so you don't regret it later. The 2+ months wait time does seem really tough though. I've been waiting for about 3 months so far for this vehicle to come out, hehe.

I'm not quite sure if the stock rims would fit either. I have a good feeling that NISMO and Stillen will definitely come out with some nice mods for the G37.

Just brought my G37 Journey--delivery scheduled for Sept 7th. Silver with black interior. Premium/Navigation package...having the dealer install a spoiler when available. Paid list price but they did agree to the spoiler at no charge. Didn't get the sports package because the car is going to be bad enough in New England winters without the extra problem of summer tires. Can't wait!

I'm new on the site and have been reasearching this car for the past 9 months. I went to see the G37 at the dealer on Friday and the Internet Pic's do nothing for this car. If this car performs as good as it looks, i think the decsion will be an easy one. I'm trading in an 03 Acura CL-S 6sp because I need more performance and the CL just doesn't have it in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, the CL is great on the Highway, but falls apart on back roads and twisties.

I was close to purchasing a BMW 335i Coupe late last fall and put that purchase on hold until i could get behind the wheel of this G37.

It's been a long waiting period and I'm close. If i get the G37, it will be:

G37 Sports 6MTPlatinum or Amethyst GraphitePremium PackageSpoilerSplash/Mud Guard

The dealer has contacted me two times since Friday to keep my interest peaked and line up a test drive.

The count down is on!
