I bet he hasn't the guy assaulted him. The cop was within right. Though I would hope he was punished for excesiveness.

I'd probably do that if I was a cop...

thus, it's a good thing I'm not one.

Even though he never touched him if the officer feared for his own safety then it is assault. Now if the jackass touched the cop it would have been assault and battery. :D

i was with my friends one day, in a intersection at a light. there was a cop car pulling out in front of us, so my buddy flicked him off. then all the sudden, the white truck that was behind us fliped on its police lights (it was undercover) comes over to the passanger side of the car where my buddie is. he says "kevin, what the **** were you doing flipping the bird to that cop over there?" kevin looks at me and gose, "of all the cops in louisville, one of the ones that know me pull us over" then he looks at the cop, says he was doing it to his girlfriend in the front seat. the cop then tells kevin to get out of the car, and he searchs him. takes his cigs, and walks off. while walking of, he gose, kevin, never do that again. it had to have been the funniest thing ive ever been pull over for, or been in the car when being pulled over.

also, the reason the cop knew kevin was ecause he had pulled him over, 3 or 4 time previously.

bah... I don't have a problem w/ cops keeping the peace but alot of time tiems they act like pure jackasses and think they own the world... they act as if they were NEVER young and messed around occasionally...question, is it illegal to drive around with your airbags deployed???? One time I was pulled over for speeding with both of my airbags deployed (the bags themselves were cut off, but there was a crack in the steering wheel and the dash from the bags going off). I thought it was illegal to drive like that, but I guess my car was too low and the cop was too tall so he couldn't see inside that well.

beats me, that sounds like it's pretty funny looking though....

as far as I know it's not, it's just a government regulation for a passive restraint system, so it's either airbags or those damn auto seatbelts...

how'd they get deployed and still have a drivable car?
