i'm dropping my Rear subframe to install the last poly bushing, previous owner "ran out of time" He also put some collars in there I'm unsure about. Feel free to chime in here and tell me what you think or know what the deal is:

I tend to go overboard and replace more than is required. I'm considering putting poly in the lower and upper control arms as well.
I already have adjustable camber and toe arms that are pillow ball mount. (sorry, I'm not sure what each of the 4 arms are called)

In the past I did all poly suspension (including sub frame), but not in the diff, in a Galant VR4 and it was annoying.

I currently don't have any vibrations or noises in the S14 with 3 out of 4 poly sub frame bushings. I hope the 4th won't change that.

I'm also considering poly diff bushings.

None of the stock rubber looks to be bad, but I'm curious if it's worth the performance gain to go all poly. I really don't want noise and vibration though.

If you're happy the way it performs stock, then I'd keep it that way and replace it with stock components when the time comes.

Subframe are fine if you do them, just don't put any polys in the control arms in the back.

The suspension design requires the bushings in the arms to have 0 stiction.

If you must replace the bushings in the rear, I suggest going with hard rubber. It allows the bushings to properly rotate, AND the RLCA can slide front to rear like it's supposed to do for passive toe correction. What I also recommend is that you try to maintain consistency between all of the bushings. Don't mix and match. You end up defeating engineered systems.

I've decided to leave the control arms alone, less the Heim joints in my camber and toe arms. I have to replace two sub frame bushings with Whiteline as the previous owner accidentally cut out the sleeve on one white attempting to install the ES bushings. So I am keeping 2 ES bushings up front and installing two Whiteline in the rear. Not going well, bought a 20 ton h frame press and have no idea how to get the rear of the sub frame in there, the front would be easy...

I'm going to leave it at a shop, hopefully they don't f*** it up, as the frame is in very good condition.
