Hi guys, been a while, but I'm getting around to the 240 before I store her.

The previous owner replaced 3 of the 4, "ran out of time". What I have installed are the front two ES bushings, 1 Rear ES bushing (with one type of collar) and 1 rear factory bushing (with another type of collar).
I'm not sure if I should have any collars installed with the ES bushings. Pics to show...

Looks weird. I'd see what ES says to use and do it all in a similar fashion. None of that mix and match crap.

So far all they can tell me is what is posted in the ad for their bushings:
"Must Reuse Existing Outer Metal Shell And All Metal Parts"

Looks as if the collars are an easier "fix" than changing the bushings. They probably don't need to be used with the ES bushings...

Yeah. I wouldn't use them.

The reason the bushing is that way is because in my haste to install the bushing (the car was my daily driver then) i screwed up the bushing shell Basically that bushing is not supporting the subframe.I put the collar on there just to keep the subframe from dropping off in case of an accident.I was going to replace the the bushings with some solid aluminum bushings to eliminate that problem.

Okay, The factory sleeve has been cut out and the bushing is loose.
I can either weld in a new sleeve (I can't weld). or I find another brand of poly that requires that you cut the sleeve out. I don't want to run aluminum.

Anyone know of a company that makes bushings that require you to cut the sleeve out of the sub frame?

Looks like Whiteline has my solution:

No one can tell me for sure, but they are on their way and I'll find out soon enough.

^Looks like it'll work.
Worst case scenario, you just get a whole new (used) rear subframe.

I refuse to get a new frame! lol. I bought this car from Memphis, too clean to change.

I bought a 20ton h frame press, can't get the sub frame in there. Gonna take it to a shop, where they hopefully won't f*** it up.

Thanks for posting the link to those whiteline bushings. I didn't know they made those.
