thanks man, rears are 20x10.5 +25. the only thing is im on eibach springs, thats why im worried..if i was on coils it would be a different story.Partysan7 wrote:Dude that looks dope and so aggresive !!! What are the specs on the rear ? Iam running 10" et40 in the rear with 285 tire dropped on D2s . I think that once you put tire on and drop it down off jack it will tuck in much more. Before my d2s my wheels were sticking out too ( not as much) but after the drop the car gain nice natural camber where it sticks out just a tiny bit.
not trying to pull my fenders, ill order 245/35 all around and see how it goes...DoN_BLaZe34 wrote:You're definitely going to need to dial in camber to make them tuck. That and probably pull your fenders. The fronts will be fine with a 245 or 255 tire. I would go with 265 in the rear as suggested
you don't think that will look weird since the wheels are staggered?mexillis wrote:Stock tires from a gtr have a larger rolling diameter than ours so I wouldn't personally use them. The sidewall thickness is to large and over 3% in difference. It all depends on what look you want for you set up, if you want the stretched look all around go with a 225 upfront and 245 in the back. There are numerous ways to go. 245 all around or 255 all around, that would give the most sidewall protection and have the least amount of stretch.
i hear ya mandimataeus wrote:not trying to pull my fenders, ill order 245/35 all around and see how it goes...DoN_BLaZe34 wrote:You're definitely going to need to dial in camber to make them tuck. dimataeus wrote:so i finally got the tires mounted, i went with kumho ecsta SPT 245/35 all around. did alignment and ended up going with 3.5 negative camber, anymore camber and the toe was getting thrown out of alignment. it rubs only over big bumps or pot holes..im going to pull the fenders a small amount but all in all i am happy with the out come. also need 15mm spacers for the front.
i have a 15mm in the front now and it sits good with the fender but now i would probably go with a 20mm and a stretch tire with some poke. it rubs a little in the rear but nothing major.zags wrote:dimataeus wrote:so i finally got the tires mounted, i went with kumho ecsta SPT 245/35 all around. did alignment and ended up going with 3.5 negative camber, anymore camber and the toe was getting thrown out of alignment. it rubs only over big bumps or pot holes..im going to pull the fenders a small amount but all in all i am happy with the out come. also need 15mm spacers for the front.
Looking good! Didn't realize anyone else had thrown on the stock R35 OEM rears on their M besides me. I know of a G guy here in SoCal that did it.
I had 275/30's in the rear (but also a fender pull) and I would just barely rub on the driver's side during a higher-speed drop in elevation/dip. So are you still rubbing with 245s in the rear?
I was wondering about putting how much of a spacer I might need for the fronts, i was thinking more along the lines of 10mm, you think 15mm is better?
Selling my wheels just FYI if anyone is looking for set
feel bad for that guy but who would take stock gtr rims and leave those 6 position calipers and rotors? lol just saying what a wastemrbigruss wrote:HEY THOSE ARE MY RIMS!!! I BEEN LOOKING FOR THEM!!!!!![]()
