I just installed a type a nismo adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I have a 0-100 psi inline fuel pressure gauge, i looked online for a digital fuel pressure gauge that has a decimal point to set the base fuel pressure to 36.3 psi, but was unsuccessful at finding one. So my question is how is everyone else setting base pressure? What kind of gauge are you guys using? Would setting the base pressure at 36.5-37 psi ( where it is probably set at the moment ), cause any problems other then a slightly rich condition, or is it going to be a problem until set 100% as per factory seeing as I'm running the stock ecu? Not driving the car right now until i know for sure it's safe. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Where you have it set is fine and it will not cause a rich condition.

I set mine at 43.5psi with no vacuum on the regulator. Should be around 34-35 with vacuum

For the CA18DET you set the base fuel pressure with the pump running (jump the relay) and the car off to 36.3psi ...

Really? I had been informed that 35-36 was target pressure with vacuum which is what mine always ran on my adjustable. I guess thats why mine never got above 12.1 afr in boost when it was all stock on 16psi

Why are we debating this? There was a write-up by Float in the FAQ's last I checked... go over there and you will have your definitive answer...
