I AM NOT IN THE UK. I am in Germany and I can ship pretty cheap because I can still ship through USPS. I can probably ship the head for about 40 bucks stripped (slow mail) or about 90 bucks priority mail. So if anybody wants to have this head make me an offer before I start rebuilding this one also. I am pretty sure I don't need three heads sitting around. Let me know.

All you need to run the 4 port head in an existing 8 port installation is the bare head, lower half of the inlet manifold, and the fuel rail.

The cams/lifters/covers/top half manifold/coils are all the same. I fitted a 4 port head this weekend to a friends car here in new zealand using the 8 port loom and it fired up straight away and has given no problems so far over about 200km ~ 120 miles of medium/hard thrashing

Buuuuut... in order to get the ful air from the UK design you need the intermiediary plenum piece. How should I describe it? The piece of the intake manifold that (for the JDM monifold)splits the air into 8 ports instead of the european piece that has a straight run. You have to admit is goin to be better flow with that consistancy.

ragenasian, how much can you ship the stripped head and intermiediary piece to US zip code 20895 for? I would beg to have one of these...

Depends on how fast you want this thing. Like I said it will probably be around 90 bucks for priority shipping and a few extra bucks to make sure I pack this thing well. For slow mail I can do it for about 50 bucks I think. Give me a couple of days to go get the head stripped and cleaned. Then I will take it down to my post office and see what shipping would be. I am sure though that with the head stripped this can be done.

Do you guys really think there is more potential with this head over the jdm design?? I was under the impression that the upper intake manifold was designed a little different also, or at least somebody mentioned that the injectors sat different. I guess I could take the mani apart but would really like to get rid of it as a whole because I have too much crap laying around here. I have left the pics up of the manifold top and bottom so you can compare.

You don't have to beg though considering I have three extra heads, now if I only had one

The top half is identical. The difference is the fuel rail mounts to the lower half instead of the bottom of the top half so you need the fuel rail to go with the head and lower half manifold

Thanks for the clarification Fraz. I only have experience with the Euro version so I have no clue as to the differences and have only recently become aware of any. Thanks

Here, send out a email to me if your still game, [email protected]

Oh yeah, and guys... Im sure its true, but the fuel injectors from the JDM set will work with the euro stuff, right?

Hey Rookie,

I am stripping the head as we speak (just came up to check things out) and I have one extra cam sensor but would like to keep it as a spare. I will however sell the cams out of this head. They look to be in good shape and will take pics if you want after I am done stripping the head. Send me an email and make me an offer. Thanks

CA18dori,

Off hand the only thing I remember having from the power steering it the power steering pump and the bracket. That is all I have though. Let me know if that is what you need and I can drive out to my garage and take pics. Later
