fitting the FSTB on an active car is the same as on a standard one. I also bought the 'Maxima' FTSB, and redrilled the holes for the mount to wheel house to fit and then shortened the 'horn' and redrilled. Found I could 'improve' the excess negative camber by using my neat hydraulic porta-power kit to spread the top of the wheel house before installing the STB. How little negative camber do you want? It really changed the way my '94a handled corners--made it very much like the 92a--crisp drive around corners rather than plow around

I agree. The issue is whether the car owner wants to disconnect the hydraulic lines to put the hats on the strut towers.

I got a Maxima bar that the hat is only a half moon, rather than a full circle. The center bar is a good bit shorter, so I don't have to trim the tabs, I think. I will give it a good testing in the morning.

I tried to pre-tension the strut bar, but ended up bending the hats and put a lot of stress on the aluminum threads. Dennis' STILLEN bar had to be re-threaded due to too much stress. I guess he drives a little harder than I do.

I will post a few pics in the morning (if my stupid camera batteries will hold a charge).

OK, the parts are in. Now I need to get access to a chop saw, or band saw, to make the necessary modifications. My church has a nice band saw, and I have some friends with both chop saws and band saws. I plan to "get busy" this weekend and get them all modified.

Now is the time to add your name to the list if you are interested. I have 3 that are not spoken for and 5 that have not been paid for, so speak up!

Thanks for waiting so long, guys!

I bought a chop saw and some blades. Tonight, I should ge most of the cutting done. It looks like I should finish by the end of the week.

If you haven't paid me yet, please let me know you are interested. I will be selling the ones not spoken for as soon as possible. Gotta recoup my Christmas money!

Jeff..

I would be interested provided the following....

1. I have the active suspension.... so have the end plates been modified (to a semi circle shape) so I dont have to pull the hydraulic lines off?

2. Would you mail to Australia?

3. If so, could you find out a total price(including postage) for me and let me know what i would be up for?

and most importantly

4. If any are still available?

Cheers Andy

Well, I have all the bars cut and cleaned up. I have 6 sets of bolts cut and installed, and one hat finished.

It is freakin' cold in my carport/workshop!

I am taking a break to let my ears warm up. I will get back at it in a few...

I need to clean up the Corvette today too, we have a club meeting tomorrow, and I will be meeting up with a local super car club after that...

2 Lingenfelter Twin Turbo Corvettes,2 Lamborghini Diablos, TT 911 Porsche, SRT10 Viper,Z06, and a bad *** EVO.

Boy, will I be out-powered!

I just checked shipping to Hawaii, $31!

I need to pay more attention before I quote shipped prices!

Taking a warmth brake. I have 10 completely finished and just need to drill the hats on the other 14, then test fit all of them.

I should get them all boxed up and ready to ship on Monday. FedEx should pick them up on Tuesday.

If you still want one and have not paid yet, please pay before Tuesday, or at least contact me. I will be selling the rest on eBay.

Please list them as The NICO Q45 Jeff Williams FSTB, that would be pretty cool, linking back to NICO for positive feedback on performance/results.

Maybe you should start a new thread with feedback ... and no pricing info .

Jeff, don't use FedEx for me, just send mine via USPS priority mail to Hawaii, it should cost about $10-12 bucks. Thanks, Magnum PI

Chopp, I just found that out. I was doing some more research. It's funny how FedEx is cheaper on the continent, but not over seas. I will send it USPS, for sure!

I wonder what the USPS cost is to Australia? Hmmm, a little more research is necessary for international shipping.

MPI & Kimr, I will ship USPS. Thanks for the heads up!

Ozzie, I will definitely be getting a USPS quote to Australia. FedEx is CRAZY if they think I am shipping out of the country with them!

Larry, thanks for the payment! I will put you on the list.

Rex, I do have a link to NICO in my auction. The reserve plus the shipping is right at $50. I will probably just use the "Buy It Now" feature in the future, to make it easy. I just wanted to see what people would be willing to pay.

They are all finished and assembled. I will test-fit today and box them up tomorrow (I forgot to bring home the boxes). I can print all the shipping labels tonight & they should be on their way Tuesday morning.

ozzie!, I got a quote for shipping to Australia. It was around $35. BUT the USPS won't accept my FedEx tubes unless I cover the FedEx logos. Off to buy some brown paper.

I shipped 14 FedEx today. I have one more for FedEx and 3 for the USPS that I will have to take care of Friday.

There are still 5 people that were interested initially, but haven't replied lately:

Micorosoft94Q45tnchopp83slshearerdraivarGreenQ45a

Please let me know so I can put them up for sale on eBay.

Thanks!
