I just did this not too long ago and can't remember myself but I think it is either 19 or 21mm.DRIPS wrote:what size are the 2 bolts on the torque member to remove the caliper assembly?
I forgot and cant find it in the manuals...i just want to make sure i have the right size socket before pulling off my wheels
That is if your wanting to remove the main caliper bracket from the spindle. If your doing a complete brake job (new or turned rotors/ new pads) this will have to come off either way.Good luck man!M4T5 wrote:22mm front and 18mm rear.

They are stamped R & L.DRIPS wrote:which rotor goes on which side? what way does the slots/drills go?!! HELP
You should work in Advertising!!!! Love the parts display!DRIPS wrote:OK. Im heading outside to do this! Here are the pics of my parts.
That's totally normal. I had cadmium plated rotos on another car and that was great. Stayed silver forever.DRIPS wrote:FYI- gold zinc plating is already warn off (2 days of light braking) where the pads connect to the rotor surface. No big deal as that is the last place for rust and the zinc is for rust, but geeeezzz I liked the gold!!
I agree!M4T5 wrote:That's a good tip for everyone, but that's not what caused the coating to wear away.
Yup! Mine gets "cleaned" of rust in that area every time I brake ...M4T5 wrote:It wasn't intended to stay on the rotor surface (pad contact area) once it gets used.
