Well that is just a total buzzkill..

These cars were all probably imported at complete cars which the U.S. will not allow, most cars have to be cut in half or some other undriveable state to be shipped over. Or imported through canada which is also illegal..
For some reason they don't play around when it comes to cars.

Let's not forget what happened to R32's

none of the cars came in with motors. the wheels are destroyed along with the car.

The black car looks like an R33 GtST, from the front but an R32 from the rear... odd. If that is an R32 doesn't it count as a classic car by now and if so aren't there different laws that make it exempt from a non classic/antique car?

I can't help but wonder if you offered to pay the importation taxes and fees if they would let you keep the car.

its an r33, 32's have a more angular body, the rear-side window is the clue, 32's have a shorter more angular window.

To be brought into the US leagally has to be 25 years or older, so in 2014 the '89 R32 will be legal to bring over.

all of thet s*** would be useless junk after the crushing is done man.
they crush'em flat.
wheels may be a diff story tho since they take them off before the crush.

wow that sucks so bad, poor cars got crushed, i know the silvia would get crushed but the the integra? those are not illegal in the states, i have a few buddies that have imported civic type R's and integras with no problems, as long as the cars had the same name in japan as in america it was ok, from what i've heard and thats how they got'em legal and registered in california..
