Well, after a couple months after filling a claim with Caltrans, and multiple phone calls, They finally approved my claim and will be giving me a check for $870! since they no longer make the wheels, I will try and sell them and get a new set. prolly wont get wheels until after winter, that will give me time to see what style I wanna go. Thinking of going staggered concave style wheels?

that happened to my ex awhile back , she filed with CALTRANS and got $1200 and our insurance bought us 2 new rims and 4 new tires ! we sold that set and got a new set and had money left over !

follow the instructions that others have given about pleading your case to the city. this same thing happened to me when i was college and i ended up getting my entire set of rims paid for (they were also discontinued).
