it just needs to be about 5 paragraphs or so..we just don't want 3 sentence reviews because that has happened in the past

Hi there. I would like to be more informed step by step on how to rebuild SR20DET or a RB25DET. I have automotive repair experiance and I would like to open up a new shop withn a few years. I think studing your video's will help me out more on how to rebuild and swap one of these engines right the first time. I would enjoy reviewing one of your dvd's.

Thanks for your time.

we need to get our RB25DET build out of the way first, but that is a great idea

if you watch the SR20DET MOTOR BUILD DVD you will realize that a lot of the general concepts apply to any build

-Taking Measurements-Use of Tools-Crank Prep-Cutting Rings-Hanging Rods-Bolting the Cams

but you would need the service manual for clearance and torque settings if you select another motor

I didnt even know drifting.com was even on this site.Well for the record...I have the 2j S14 swap video. It is awesome video. I thought it was very complete.I also have the RB25 S13 video and OMG is that video annoying! The use of airtools and the volume that they are recorded at is insane. For anyone getting the RB swap video make sure to have a remote. This way you can turn it up when they are talking and turn it down when they are working.

There videos are quality products and then are very informativeKeep it up Drifting.com!

no kidding!!! the RB25DET Swap was our FIRST DVD and we used a microphone that kept failing so we junked it after this project was closed and got the best one out there.

at least the content was still complete and detailed

7 out of 8 of our DVD's use the professional microphone setup, you will notice this when you listen to our DVD trailers on youtube

I been researching for my Ka-t and I have been told that I am a strong writer from many of my teachers. Since I don't know some stuff I think the SR20 one could teach me a lot of things I don't know. I should be able to write more than five paragraphs. I watched little preview before and the videos looked very nicely done. Let me know I'm very interested in doing this, I don't mind writing for free stuff . I write business letters all the time to get stuff from them, lol.

Hey! I have a S14 with a S13 sr20det. I payed to have my wiring done by a shop and its Sloppyer than Sloppy Joes!It even shorted the ecu and they charged me laybor to fix it even thow they did the wiring! I Did a great job on my swap and it runs great but I would like to Clean it up by rewire the harness.Im gonna do this eather way but I thought you could help. They even left wires not being used in the harness which is not a good thing! I had to rewire the maf to get it running and found SPEEKER WIRE was used! I can give you a full review with before and after pictures! I will be picking up your sr motor build dvd in about a year when I go for 500+whp!

I have a stock S14 SR in my S14, put it in last November and have been researching on what is the best way for me to get it up to 300whp. I am interested in a sr20det build dvd hopefully an s14 motor. I have never taken apart the SR motor and want to be ready when i do. I also want peace in this world and that is why i think i should be one of the lucky 3 to get a dvd.

Are you still looking for people to review the SR build/swap dvd? I'm currently in the process of finishing my build and need to complete the swap and would like the chance. It is a S13 blacktop going into a '95 S14 chassis.
