Baltimore, MD here!  Not many old Datsuns running the roads around here so its nice to see folks in other areas.

Howdy, I joined this great site on 1/29/2007.  I live in northern Michigan, the detached part on the northern end of Wisconsin. We don't see very many vintage Datsun trucks up here, the road salt sees to that. I'm in the process of rebuilding a '71 521 Pick-up, the third that I've owned. In addition to the 3 pick-ups, I've owned a '71 Datsun 1200 Coupe, and a '73 620 Pick-up. I think that trying to find parts for these old Datsuns, is like a treasure hunt, and you can never have enough spare parts. These old Datsun trucks are head turners, and are a hell of a lot of fun to drive. I'll try to pass on any information that will help to keep these trucks on the road.  John

Hiding out from western civilization in the Sandhills of western Nebraska. Just picked up a 77 620 King Cab, without title for $25. But was able to find previous owner and just yesterday received the title. Had to have a replacement title issued: cost-$14.00. So I have $39.00 invested so far. Need seats-anybody got any for sale?

Hello out there! Hail from Whidbey Island, Washington. Have a red '67 that I have had since 1985. Worried I might have to retire it for lack of a windshield.

Oltrucker, By a '67,can I asume it's a 520 Pick-up? If you can't find one on this site, Iowa Glass started selling windshields for the 521 Pick-up that they are having made in China; they are pricey, but available. I believe that they should also fit the 520 Pick-up.You may find members with something for sale, but the trick is to get it shipped to you, and recieving it in good condition. Too Intense Restorations sells the windshield molding for around $75.00, but there may be other places to get one. John

Oltrucker, If you want to do more research into getting a windshield, here's the address that I've got for Iowa Glass:  Rick Peek - PPG Auto Glass - Vintage Group - Phone 877-855-8100 or 319-896-4206. The price that I was quoted was $450.00 plus $115.00 shipping to a business address. Good Luck, John

Thanks much! I will call them today. I started doing some prep work, like bomb can the cab top surfaces as the original paint, and that which I have added over the years, had disappeared and rust taken it's place. I prepped well, primed, and used a good paint. Looks so good I am doing the rest, amongst a large laundry list of other items. Started off with holes appearing at the bottom of my doors, how dare it do that after 40 years of living outside and working hard! I got the same price quote and am now ready to pay it. Thanks again. Jim

Just ordered the glass and gasket from Rick Peek. The glass is a Triplex from England. Gasket is within 10 miles from me. Ahh, now I can get serious about fixing up the old machine. Thanks, Jim
