yeah really! where did you score the eibach and no, I didnt install a camber kit. Camber kits are only for drops overs 1.5 inches, atleast that's what my tech guy told me, but be sure to get the car re alligned within the first 150 miles and everything should fall back in factort specs. I have no tire wear issues and this is because I got the car alligned right ways.loans4homes wrote:Hey Troubleowens...Where did you find the Eibach kit...I had no luck anywhere...
Cakedaddy...Did you install the camber kit?? If not have you had wear issues on your install??? If so where did you get the camber kit?
Eibach's have been discontinued....for awhile now. The only chance is if a shop bought them for their own inventory and has them lying around.troubleowens wrote:Try AJ Usa. The part # is 6371.140. Or contact eibach and ask them about that part # for the pro-kit.
Don't bother! Shox.com back in Jan 2006 said that they do not exist anywhere. When I purchased mine through shox.com in Jan 06 they actualy had to get back to me and he later explained to me that this is the last set and they will be discontinued. He exhausted every option to find mine, and yes the part num is 6371.140. I've done searches on this and they do show up, but its a no go once you call them. I'm a little vexed about this myself. I'd love to see other M's lowered.troubleowens wrote:Try AJ Usa. The part # is 6371.140. Or contact eibach and ask them about that part # for the pro-kit.
Well don’t leave us hanging!! Who are they? We know that Eibach is out, Intrax say they are in the making, JIC Magic has yet to release the coilover setup , Junction Pro has them, but for the GloriaV6 which has a different load rate, espilar(sp)?? I've yet to see anyone install these if they even exist , so do you know something we don't?auditech10 wrote:Its not like Eibach is not the only manuf. that makes springs for our Ms. Its just for some reason people on here think they are the best brand.
Who are these "other" brandsauditech10 wrote:Its not like Eibach is not the only manuf. that makes springs for our Ms. Its just for some reason people on here think they are the best brand.
I'm not trying to be nasty but I was only asking the questions that everyone else will be asking. I know Auditech10 is a pretty resourceful dude and I hope he can shine some light for the other users.mrmark wrote:

There is the link but this company has a lowering kit at 1.2" front and rear drop.
partstrain.com
The brand is Intrax and the search would be 2004 M45
I purchased a set with delivery at $280
I hope this set works out and if anyone has ever heard of this manufacturer quality please respond.
Please elaborate on which spring compressors you used, where you got them (how much) and the procedure to install and adjuster them. Thanks!jamestgk wrote:when the industry lets you down, you gotta go old school. I could not take the high ride and body roll any more. so, what we old dudes do... spring compressors. stiff in the corners, crazy sharp steering response, squat free launches, and no bounce!!!! doubt me, come take a ride. oh yeah, lets not forget no rubbing over speed bumps or turns and it's adjustable for more height. what you see is max low with 255/35/20 all around. speaking of tires, THE BEST PERFORMING TIRE YOU WILL EVER NEED IN ALL WEATHER YOU SEE BELOW... GENERAL EXCLIAM UHP, WITH NITROGEN OF COURSE.
