nissan was origionaly established as Jidosha Seizo Co. back in 1933, it then changed its name to Nissan motor Co. in 1934 (as its own independant company). Nissan did have buisness deals with Fuji heavy industries but those were "concluded" according to nissan back in october of 1968. Right now nissan is only dealing with Suzuki and Renault. As it stands right now, renault owns 44.4% of nissan and nissan owns 15% of renault.
