Found out something very upsetting about out locks

lol my house key opens up my car.....i wouldnt rush to the dealer to replace it, if someone wanted to break in your car they wouldnt try to open it with a different key, they would pop the lock or break the window.

didn't read the whole thread, but if somebody failed to mention, both subaru and nissan are fuji heavy industries and share a lot of common parts.... if your were to change the locks/ignition, i'd go w/ a totally different company, whoever knows about this "trick" wouldn't be expecting a 240 to have toyota locks ...

umm, no, only subaru is owned by fuji heavy industries, even go to FHI's website and it says so.

nissan was origionaly established as Jidosha Seizo Co. back in 1933, it then changed its name to Nissan motor Co. in 1934 (as its own independant company). Nissan did have buisness deals with Fuji heavy industries but those were "concluded" according to nissan back in october of 1968. Right now nissan is only dealing with Suzuki and Renault. As it stands right now, renault owns 44.4% of nissan and nissan owns 15% of renault.

With a little over 400hp on tap and 2500lbs of weight to pull around I'll run circles around my buddies Z. His Z is all stock. It only has 10K'mi tho. Showroom condition.

Hook up a starter kill, so you can disconnect the starter at the flick of a switch before oyu leave your car.

Something that keeps your car from actually starting is a great deterrant. Alarms and all that jazz only make noise, any good theif will have it disabled in no time, or be gone before anyone shows up.

To protect against the goods IN your car, don't keep anything in there.

good advice. my car already has a 'kind of' kill-start. its more of a defect. when you put the key in and try to turn it on it wont turn. you have to slip the key out JUST a lil bit and then turn it. BUT after its on, you gotta slip the key back in or it will stall [dunno why] its been this way ever since i bought it. i let a friend of mine borrow my car to go get his girlfriend and forgot to tell him about that... he called me and told me that he never picked her up cuz he couldnt start my car so i guess im not too worried about it getting ripped off and driven away..
