A junk yard by my house has a 95 j30 diff w/ axles for 400 bucks. I want to put it in my 240sx w/ rb25det. As of right now it has a open diff. The Diff has 106,000 miles on it, is it still going to have life in it. Is this going to be the best way to go for right now. Later on down the line i would like to get a kaaz 1.5. Should i just spend the extra 400 to get that. Or should i just get the j30 and with the other 400 get a spec 3+ cluch.

What are your plans for the car, if you only plan to daily drive it, the J30 diff will be fine, but if you want to track the car, I say get the Kaaz.
