I dont mean to be rude but I find a bit more usefull information on that board then I find here. Ive been a member there for a few yrs with minimal post count as I generally dont have to ask questions or answer any as well.

Most of my more difficult problems answers have come from there... There are more self tuned decent power players over there then there are here, and the attitude is generally more mature. Dont get me wrong, as I love comming to nico but the maturity level here is rather disgusting at times...

I mean hell that guru comment was a bit funny...

I don't think anyone is competing on which boards is better.... there is no reason to fight over which one is better... there will always be differences between all the different Nissan/Infiniti boards.. that's why there are so many and not just one huge one. some people prefer FA, Some NICO, Some 240sxforums, Some Zlvia...

my point is... it doesn't matter... you can like whatever board you want... why flame another for it?

True. Let's face it, nothing you can buy for $2500 at a "Buy Here, Pay Here" lot is "elite".

We'll be working on some f the issues that 96_S14_SE raised.

Let's all keep what he said in mind as we post here, esp in the more technical forums... Keep the jibber-jabber to the Gen Chat areas.

I'm glad they did. Shows a certain level of respect for NICO. I'm sure that if this thread turned into a an FA flame thread then it would subsequently be deleted.

Also, I haven't found anywhere that has given me as much information on my Q45 as NICO.

I am glad the issues are being looked into.. I know other parts of the forum are great and the ET section has zero BS in it. The 240 section while good is lacking a bit. I really like how the FA crew doesnt play around, and moves deletes bans all the time. Take that post, it was about 240s in a sense, but was off topic thus got shifted out of the 240sx - B/A forums and striaght into OT.

Alot of times I see no need for a general 240 section as it is basically "general chat", littered with posts with nothing about the 240sx. Then there are the posts in specific sections that could be bumped into a real general 240sx forum, or tech... I mean its not that bad and I do note movement which is nice

, but when others come in and see a mess, they wont take NICO as a whole to seriously.

My favorite tech forum has been ripping various forums out of the forum tree just because they got tired of non-tech posts!!! They started with ripping the gen-may (general) forum out and it was the largest most popular one!! Then the soapbox (venting and logical civil topic discussion / debate) as once again they are going back to the essence of a tech board... While I didnt agree, I had alot of respect for them for doing so.

Tis' all, and Id like to see NICO to only get better.

Interesting commentary. It's not often we get good insight like this, as sometimes we're too close to the issue to see it... Too many trees, not enough forest.

I'd be curious to know if their mods and admins are compensated for their time. If not, I'm impressed. If they are, well, then I'll feel better...

We're all volunteers and do this for the love of the members and the cars. But all suggestions and comments are taken very seriously. Thanks 96!

I must say though that in my time here Ive doubled the posts Ive put out in FA in 2 yrs or so... I really dont have much to say over there alot of itmes.

Oh and off topic but since aries was brought up... You where mentioned HERE , or your car was. They have been tossing the v8 idea around, again.

Edit: and I honestly dont think they are compensated..... I know all the mods are in it for the sheer love of the car, and have vast amounts of knowledge in the subject. TY the white bunny has just about every bolt on brace made, lots of track time, and has been running 1 bar , 300+ to the wheels, daily on his stock internal KA-T (even has stock 248-232 cam setup, where I got the idea from) for over 50k miles...
