the first one was also(suposedly) dynoed at 435 hp....how is it a ricer car? please explain yourself, thats a bold statement to say that the supra is a ricer car, back it up ????? is the 240 a ricer car too? what about the sky line , 6 cyl turbocharged import, same concept , whats the difference? b/c its not made by nissan(hope thats not the reason:rolleyes ) ??

Ricers, in my book, are, but not limited to the sport compacts with all the body kit stuff, wings, neons, etc (basically fast and furious cars)......... Just because it is rice doesnt necessarily make it bad..... i have respect for the people that actually care about performance and make their cars fast........ The kind of ricers I dont like is where they spend all their money on the looks and nothing on the performance...... i have that respect for the supra..... Granted, it doesnt take a whole lot to make those little cars go fast, but 430hp in one of those little cars (or in any car) is almost insane..... insanely fast that is......

Maybe I just have a different definition than you guys do....... :rolleyes

I would consider the Z cars rice too....... I like them (not because their nissan), but they are still rice, IMO......

yeah you deff have a different definition of rice:pface ...my definition of rice is long and complicated, lets just say rice= bad, or cheap, crappy looking, flashy but slow....or something along those lines, deff a different definition.....

i got the new super street:oface ...and on page 106 it has an article on HKS Racing's 1,455 HP supra!!!!!!!!dayum thats a bad *** car.....of course its a drag car only, it ran a 7.277 sec 1/4 with only 1,164 hp out of the 1,455hp the engine is capable of producing..i kindof quoted that out of the mag just to let everyone know

Dang....... I thought my 278 on my Qship was impressive....... I would be scared half to death driving a little car like that with even 500hp...... I wouldnt be getting too pedal happy with that......

I dont think my Q is in a presentable state to all you people!!! It has the worst front seat leather of any 94-96Q i have ever seen (i have yet to see any 94-96 Q with a rip or tear in the leather with less than 200k on the clock).....

I can tell you one thing, Id be the youngest Q owner there!!!

the 94q i bought a month or two ago has only 112k on its and a few nice rips in the leather:(. and its gonna stay like that because in 2 months im gonna become a poor college student

Well at least it isnt the worst...... I have one rip about 7in on the drivers side, and its cracked as helll on the passenger side....... Both sides are suffeciently discolored........ its funny though, the seat backs look BRAND NEW!

Probably not, if you had you'd realize this was THE MOST comfortable and spacious of the last batch of japanese supercars.

I've owned both the last gen RX7's and Supra. I STILL have the Supra and drive it on a daily basis. Nuff' said.

you have a pretty broad definition of the "ricer" term. It's like calling a cadillac a fried-chicken-mobile.

It is a racist connection similar to calling import cars "rice" or their drivers "ricers". it has become accepted to use the word ricer and all that, but I still find it offensive. most of the time I tolerate it, but your definition is way too broad to ignore.
