Soon as I can, I'm getting tickets. I'm already going to Canada this year (coming up next month in fact), and if Canada can stay in the rotation, I'll be hitting up two F1 races on the same continent. First time since I was living in Europe =)

Lets all hope Tilke doesn't get his hands on the creation of the track.

I'll believe it when it happens.

Does the fact that Austin lauds itself as "the greenest city in America" make this a bit ironic?

It won't really be Austin. It will be like 30 miles away but still label itself as being in that city. For example, FedEx field is DC's stadium, but it's in Landover Maryland.

Pretty much. Road Atlanta isn't in Atlanta at all.

I'm glad to see it back in the US but I would have much preferred if Bernie had put it it at an established great facility like Watkins Glen (where it used to be held) or VIR instead of a newly designed course in Texas.

Seriously... it should be called Road Braselton...

But back on topic... This really made my day!

Me and a few of my buddies are planning on going to Montreal because it was the closest, but I guess some doors have opened!

Some guys were looking into Montreal this year, I think they might be going.

But in Austin? That's a heck of a little drive from NJ, but definitely cool to be in America.

They were talking a long time about having F1 in NJ, but that never panned out, which sucks.
