Ford Mustang Frontend Conversion??

Yes it can be done....I know it sounds stupid but it's all I had layin around. I rearended some old guy today and wrote off my '89 240 front end...shortened the left side wheelbase half and inch too. So we figured the car's junk anyways so why not play with it abit and with working headlights and signal's I'm gonna drive it till I find something new Pics to follow when I can borrow a camera. How long does it take you guys to do a Silvia Conversion? Took me and one friend 5 hours and we had to build mounting brackets, wire lights, cut, shape mould etc.... Silvia's just bolt up right?

Should have pics by Sunday....going to the impound yard to pick it up....the Dept of Transportation's book said my fuel cell wasn't up to spec....took me three days to find the box for it where it says it's DOT legal....they're still making me pay the tow truck bill though.

Not to be too far off topic, but I noticed that your signature mentioned that you swapped a 2.3 Ford motor in there.

Agreed why would you do that. maybe i'm just really biased but I hate fords with a passion I have my reasons. even so why put a domestic motor in an import?

Turbo can come from the factory if you pick the EFI version.

this is only my opinion and everyone is intitled to an opinion and i mean no harm by this but...if anyone owns a 240sx and swaps in anything relating to ford (besides cobra maf) shouldnt own a import at all.if you want ford stuff in your car, then take out that stupid motor, take off the supposed mustang front end and sell tha car as a rolling chassis or parts and get a ford.again not trying to offend anyone just my opinion.

I know nothing about 240's but have owned a few fox bodies. WTF is that, Im drunk and its still ugly. Thats a rare thing for me to say. Looks like a probe *** raped a mustang. Absolutely hideoous, Id rather take the 240 with no front clip. Ive started to take a liking to the 240's, but this is embarassing. Imports should never have to be associated with domestics, whether it be body parts, engine, or especially drifting.. I hate seeing mustangs, and those new GTO's drifting... it would piss me off if I had to drift when them... but that's just me.. i'm stupid. and tired.

wow no offence dude but just by looking at the pictures im not suprised it only took you about 5 hours to fab it all. theres doing it quick, and then theres doing it right. the whole car looks like it was just done quick.

p.s. there is no way that front end will clear any speed bumps.
