One guy in another forum put it pretty good: he said sumthin like ' it is easier to make a 240 more powerful than to make a firebird or camaro turn and handle better'. He had a f-body that he upgraded the suspension to its max puttin a lot of money into it, then he drove a stock s13 and coudnt believe that the stock 240 had way better handling than his f-body. So having a light camaro is a special thing, combinding the handling capabiliteis of an 240 and the pure power of an American muscle. A very intirguing combo to say the least.
