Or a 4x4 Dakota

I've never had good luck with a compact 4x4 aside from my Hardbody. They tend to eat axles / tires / hubs.

Nice CUCV, please tell me it at least has the 6.2L diesel, or is that one of the 350 SBC variants.

I'd love to get my hands one one of those or one of the older Ramchargers CUCV's with the 318 Mopar in it.

Personally style wise I love the look of the 94+ dodge rams, but seriously I'd donate my left nut for one of these:

a 1999-2001 Ford F-350 Crew Cab long bed with the 7.3L Powerstroke.

But one of these would be nice too:

a Dodge Mega Cab Long Bed conversion

throw a lift kit on either of them and some smoke stacks and go nuts with them.

^ That Dodge is pretty sick. I wonder why Chrysler didn't make a Mega Cab with a long bed? It seems like if you happen to be wearing shorts and got out of the truck you would hit your legs on the exhaust. Still sweet nonetheless. It would also have to be my favorite truck, has to have a Cummins though.

It's got the good ol' Chevy 350. I'm not really a fan of the 6.2 chevy diesel's even know I'm a diesel nerd.

The reason why they didn't come like that from the factory is b/c they take up too much space on the train car, while you can get 4 standard size trucks on the car, you can only get 2 mega cab long beds on a train car, the expense to ship them outweighs the cost to make them and sell them. Those are a customers aftermarket exhaust pipes.

dusred while I'd love to get the truck I want, I'm currently laid off plus my credit is crap so I can't finance anything right now even if I was employed. I also don't have more than $300 in my account atny time, I literally live paycheck to paycheck and that's with living frugally.

1979 Chevy Luv - my ex liked these as much as I like 210's....I drove one of them to work everyday for about 3 years. They actually drove very well, they would climb damn near anything, and the Isuzu motors were practically bulletproof.

Unfortunately no, due to Philadelphia somehow losing 2 Billion dollars the city is in a financial crisis so they have instituted a hiring freeze on all city positions as well as talking layoffs in the police and fire depts. The city is falling apart and with us having had like 9 officers killed on the job in the last 2 years, the FOP is no broke due to the survivors fund being depleted. To top it off we've had like 9 cruisers taken out of commission due to accidents in the last 2 weeks.

I missed out on the last class in November due to some stuff that I need to take care of, but once I get eeverything taken care off I'll be putting in for other police departments, thinking heavy about applying down in the Norfolk va area so I'll be half way between my mom and my sister. I'm also putting serious consideration on going back into the military, just haven't decided if I want ot go in the NG/Reserves or if I want to go back on active duty.

My favorite is the seventh generation Ford F series. I would love to own one just like the one in this pic...

That is one sexy truck.

I'd love to find one of these with the International diesel V8.
had one of these in high school. 1984 f150 short wheel base 4x4. came factory w/ the 351w 2bbl and 4 spd granny gear(t18 w/ np208 t case). later swapped it out for a built to the gills 460. at this point i started to break alot of sh#t. so after 7 rearends i swapped in a ford 10 1/4 1 ton rear. awsome old truck. silver top and bottom and red down the middle

I like that one.

I like the Nissan hardbodies, and older (and really old) Toyota trucks the most:

mmmm...F100...

I like the F-150 or the old C10 with a Stepside.

I have a soft spot for fullsize stepside 4x4 trucks.

What do you not understand?

The Ranger was not a separate model until 1983 or 1984. Prior to that it was a trim , just like XLT or something.

My dad owned a 77 Supercab F250 Ranger. Here is an example of an F250 Ranger:

*edit* My personal favorite truck has to be the C10. I prefer 72, but any of this body style would work really:

I don't know why but slammed trucks really piss me off, trucks are meant to have a high ground clearance, if I wanted something that is slammed to the ground I'd stick with my car.

Well, I don't like stretched tires, gutted interiors, or rattle can paint jobs but they don't "piss me off". Thankfully, people can lower their trucks without your permission.

I wouldn't mind having either one of the Garage Miniz trucks. But really I've started to like trucks alot so it's kinda hard to narrow it down to just one.

Some Garage Miniz pr0n for you guys:

It doesn't bother me when there are slammed trucks, then again I live in Texas (racial nudge not redneck nudge), BUT what I hate is when they are slammed so far the owners have to camber the **** out of the wheels cause they wanna ride on 22"s AND wanna be able to sit on the ground.
