Nice CUCV, please tell me it at least has the 6.2L diesel, or is that one of the 350 SBC variants.dusred wrote:
Out of the older trucks it would have to be this:
I got it for $200.00
It's got the good ol' Chevy 350. I'm not really a fan of the 6.2 chevy diesel's even know I'm a diesel nerd.Chaotic_Warlord wrote:

The reason why they didn't come like that from the factory is b/c they take up too much space on the train car, while you can get 4 standard size trucks on the car, you can only get 2 mega cab long beds on a train car, the expense to ship them outweighs the cost to make them and sell them. Those are a customers aftermarket exhaust pipes.EvillE423 wrote:^ That Dodge is pretty sick. I wonder why Chrysler didn't make a Mega Cab with a long bed? It seems like if you happen to be wearing shorts and got out of the truck you would hit your legs on the exhaust. Still sweet nonetheless. It would also have to be my favorite truck, has to have a Cummins though.

dusred while I'd love to get the truck I want, I'm currently laid off plus my credit is crap so I can't finance anything right now even if I was employed. I also don't have more than $300 in my account atny time, I literally live paycheck to paycheck and that's with living frugally.
Unfortunately no, due to Philadelphia somehow losing 2 Billion dollars the city is in a financial crisis so they have instituted a hiring freeze on all city positions as well as talking layoffs in the police and fire depts. The city is falling apart and with us having had like 9 officers killed on the job in the last 2 years, the FOP is no broke due to the survivors fund being depleted. To top it off we've had like 9 cruisers taken out of commission due to accidents in the last 2 weeks.dusred wrote:

You're in the Police Academy right now aren't you?
had one of these in high school. 1984 f150 short wheel base 4x4. came factory w/ the 351w 2bbl and 4 spd granny gear(t18 w/ np208 t case). later swapped it out for a built to the gills 460. at this point i started to break alot of sh#t. so after 7 rearends i swapped in a ford 10 1/4 1 ton rear. awsome old truck. silver top and bottom and red down the middleMetaru_Gia wrote:What's your favorite pick up truck model of all time. My favorite is the seventh generation Ford F series. I would love to own one just like the one in this pic...
That is one sexy truck.
I'd love to find one of these with the International diesel V8.
I like that one.Jesda wrote:

What do you not understand?EpicNightMayor wrote:dude, the ranger is like a Ford F-000.50
Well, I don't like stretched tires, gutted interiors, or rattle can paint jobs but they don't "piss me off". Thankfully, people can lower their trucks without your permission.Chaotic_Warlord wrote:I don't know why but slammed trucks really piss me off, trucks are meant to have a high ground clearance, if I wanted something that is slammed to the ground I'd stick with my car.
It doesn't bother me when there are slammed trucks, then again I live in Texas (racial nudge not redneck nudge), BUT what I hate is when they are slammed so far the owners have to camber the **** out of the wheels cause they wanna ride on 22"s AND wanna be able to sit on the ground.Chaotic_Warlord wrote:I don't know why but slammed trucks really piss me off, trucks are meant to have a high ground clearance, if I wanted something that is slammed to the ground I'd stick with my car.
