What's your favorite pick up truck model of all time. Manufacturer doesn't matter nor if it's a compact or full size pick up.

My favorite is the seventh generation Ford F series. I would love to own one just like the one in this pic...

That is one sexy truck.

I'd love to find one of these with the International diesel V8.

I very much agree with tito on the sportseries.I f***ing love all of them.

I would take one in a heartbeat.

The GMC versions are so much better than the Ford ones though.

"Ranger" is the name of a trim on the old F Series trucks.

Ford Ranger

Ford F-100 Ranger

See the difference?

There's this 38 dodge*i think* pickup where we store our toys, along with a model A, and a 40's plymouth deluxe.

I want to rat rod this sucker out with my pops. But I want to finish my 510 first.

That thing is far from ugly.

Looks like it had potential. I'd like to find one like yours and fix it up little by little.

Out of the older trucks it would have to be this:

I got it for $200.00

The damned thing was indestructible. I would push the big concrete blocks around at work, off road all the time, do doughnuts on dry pavement, whatever I felt like atm. The guy who had it before me used it as a dumpster when he redid his walls. I got it for $300 with shot rear springs, a leaky sending unit, and a bed full of plaster. Emptied the bed, fixed the parts, and beat it for over a year, never needing anything but maintenance and a tie rod. I sold it to buy a more fuel efficient car as work was going to relocate me, and gas would have killed me. Then, I didn't get relocated, and 3 weeks later I was in a front end crash in my econobox and got really F'd up. I really, really wish I never sold it.

5 years and a few lbs of Titanium later I'm as good as I'm going to get, and I'd say that's 80% on a good day. The absolute worst part, not losing my job in the Navy, not losing my income for 5 years, it's not being able to do my own work on my cars. I can't stand watching someone else turn a wrench on my car.
